'Super heavy duty carbon zinc' though

    • good for low-power electronics

Carbon zinc batteries are only good for making landfill (and leaking).

Stay away from target own brand. Have bought a few sets of AAA's and they don't keep on the shelf long :-( just chucked a kids electric toothbrush thinking it was knackared , tried three sets of batteries, that have been open for about 6 months….all were dead :-( ah well

    • that doesn't sound good how far away was the expiry date?

      • June 2017!

  • I can't buy as previous stock from masters hasn't finished as yet.

    1 word. crap

leaks everywhere, not all of them but some of them

It's strange that they are never seen leaking while they are displayed in the store but once you take them home and keep em for a few weeks, they start leaking.

    I smell a conspiracy.

  • Don't expect this deal to last long!

Edit - I mean the batteries!

It looks like leftover from Asian warehouses that no one would ever buy.

  • I purchased a few packs of 28 a week or so back. No problems yet :)

    • Just don't leave them in anything for too long.. cameras etc.. they leak bad.

So you have no resistance to leaving a current review that is either positive or negative?

Considering what happened to incandescent bulbs, Carbon-Zinc batteries should be banned too.

  • There is a reason why they're so cheap….

Kmart's performer brand are much better anyway.

  • These might power up the "low battery" warning lights on whatever you use them in.
