I was under the impression that Steam closed the creditcard/region loophole and the only way to get around it was fiddling with VPN's. Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable inputting my credit card details over a free VPN service either.

    • I agree with you there Cobalt. If someone who was running the VPN had a bit of technical know how they could easily swipe your card info/passwords to paypal. Even it was encrypted everything is crackable.

      • use a reliable vpn and paypal. some exist. paypal uses https/ssl, the vpn acts as a tunnel and even with certificates it would extremely difficult to pull that info out.

    • Yeah, I had to go through a VPN to buy L4D2

  • I Remember buying GTA3, VC and SA on the xbox for $200. 11 games for $42.49 is pretty good value, if you can get it.

  • has anyone tried the instructions at steamgifter.com? does it still work?

    • Looks way dodgy.

  • Isn't Manhunt Still Banned in Australia?

Illegal to sell (refused classification). You can still import it though. Speaking of which, what are we going to do to rectify the classification laws?
