    Ouch, $59.99 for a carton of Corona?! It's $42.90 @ Dans

Not really 'free' delivery then is it?! You've just incorporated it into the price already!

What do you expect dude? *not associated btw

They're a business, and businesses intend to make money. I don't get people who say this sort of thing, especially considering it is a small start up (unlike the behemoth Dans).

      Comparisons btw -
      S&WPA $8 more at Tipple
      Furphy $6.50 more at Tipple

      • Also it's ice cold when we deliver it =O…what an amazing time to be alive.

Oh another thing, give some of the local craft's beer's a go. Since their local suppliers (not that international stuff) we can get slightly better prices hence will pass it on. Been awhile since I've checked but we do a 24pk of Hawkers for $69 and I think at Dan's it's like $65? So for $4 extra bucks we'll deliver it to your door mate.

Yeah, but if it's work drinks time already and no-one's sober enough to drive to Uncle Dan's…

      • Which is why no one in our office really drives anymore haha…

    • I guess a premium is fair enough for late night delivery, but $65.99 for Bombay Sapphire 700mL is worse than Thirsty Camel prices.

      • Hmmmm I'm not a Gin expert… but have you tried Beefeater London Dry Gin instead? I gotta admit the combination of the coriander seeds and orange peel gives it a very soft citrus aroma but balances quite well….it also doesn't hurt the wallet as much. I think in most places it retails around the $45-$50 mark so you can save a few bucks as well.

        • Bombay > Beefeater

          defo.

        • @blackfrancis75:

I dunno, tried Bombay wasn't a huge raving fan about it.

    • Since this is a completely new service, I expect (and hope!) the price differential with huge-volume brick-and-mortar stores will decrease substantially as adoption of the service pick up.

On other words - get on it, people!

p.s. Sam Tea - when are you guys going to cover Highett?!

Sorry guys for the slow reply today…

All valid points and I think everyone's kind of argued it. Yeah eventually we'd like to do something with a supplier prices but we only deliver to Melbourne and we're not associated with the big boys like Dans, Thirsty etc. We're a local service but we're all about connivence. So had a few to drink, can't drive or just feeling a bit lazy then give us a buzz and we'll bring the party to you =D

Haha I would LOVE it if we could do it today… biggest problem is FREAKIN MELBOURNE TRAFFIC…. man almost as bad Sydney these days…. We've been talking about expanding the dropzone in June / July but need a bit more work and we've still got a few bugs to sort out.
