Well that solves the answer to the competition

    • What was the answer to day one? I thought it was smorgasbord, but clearly not…

  • What was the answer to day 3?

    • Hunger

      • I thought it was lunch. :P

        • well you could always TRY 'BURNCH' as the code ;)

        • @Popid: I thought it was going to be a mix-em answer to arrive at BRUNCH

        • @bluedufflecoat: Oh. Well. That actually makes a lotta sense. Thanks for ruining the joke I made at your expense! ;)

        • +1

@Popid: Sorry! I hope you enjoy your BURGER. :)

    • What was the question? My phone bugged out and it didn't show.

  • +26

I would highly recommend you save the coupon to your account as the quantity of vouchers is fixed to 200.

    • how do you do that, when it's a coupon code you have to enter at checkout?

      • +5

Click the drop-down menu on the initial screen and hit the "your profile" button. From there you click on the "vouchers & competitions" tab and save the coupon by clicking on-the + button in the top-right corner. I'm using Android, so the instructions may slightly differ on iOS.

        • +1

Awesome thanks very much. Does this mean not having to use it right away then, because it'll be one coupon reserved for us, or will it just make it faster to checkout, and if another 200 people used it first the voucher would disappear from our accounts/no longer be valid?

        • +1

I'm pretty sure it reserves the coupon. In the past I've added a coupon that reached its usage limit before I ordered anything, but even after that I could still apply that coupon to an order. With that said, I haven't used the application in a long time, so I'm not sure if the functionality has changed. If you want to be sure, I'd recommend asking them via their chat.

This comes in handy, since they suddenly disappeared from CashRewards the other week!

    • I noticed that… I thought I just couldn't find it!

    • They are gone from all Cashback sites, Pricepal also. OzBargain will show a cashback button under 'go to deal' and on the store page when they have cashback available at any of the major cashback sites.

  • Can you use the code "Burger" for Pizza? : D

    • phone is fine too

      • +1

You can phone for a pizza? Noooooooo!

  • -1

    Getting code not valid

    • +1

It starts tomorrow(as OP stated, Voucher valid from Sat 11AM to Sunday 11PM.)

      • Oops

  • Thanks OP

  • Code added in my vouchers cheers

  • -3

No, i don't consent to you raping & pillaging my phone.

  • yep added here all good

    • Phone is fine.

  • Is the 10$ off for first 200 who order something tomorrow morning at 11 am?

    • +2

I'll let you know at 11:30 tmr

    • It's still working at 11:29, though I had the code stored.

Seems to be charging $5 delivery but then it's removed again at PayPal / payment step..

  • Any coupons to use tonight?

    • +5

If you're hungry for an SSD: SATARSE-3

Otherwise, for food, you could try using: TASTY10 via menulog the deal is marked as expired but that code seems to bounce back into action every so often.

Otherwise go through the old deals and try other old codes, sometimes you get lucky; Eat Now, Menulog & Delivery Hero

10% off @ DH if you have an edu email address
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/240993

  • Does anyone actually use DH without coupons? I've noticed that for a lot of stores their DH prices and in-store prices are quite different (i.e. a lot cheaper in store).

    • The prices at my locals seem to be the same, but one of them gives a free entree if I spend $25+ and order directly with them.

To answer your question, no, I generally don't order through these sites without a voucher, unless I'm desperate.

    • +2

never have I made an order without a coupon..it would be breaking the ozbargainers code of conduct.

      • +1

I did once… I have been regretting it everyday since.

  • 👌🏼 thanks

  • +1

This will be gone within the first 10 seconds. Trying to get the discount itself is lottery

    • Yes it probably will be very difficult to get the $10 off.

Remember the times where DH used to give $10 off for free without doing anything, and there was more than 200?

As its international Burger day, maybe Menulog will also have a promo.

  • Just ordered dinner and lunch for tomorrow :D

  • Code works, dinner for tonight sorted. Thanks OP!

  • Still working :)

  • Still working.

  • Well it seemed to accept the voucher as working, but because there are only 4 restaurants on offer now compared to the 12 that were months ago I shall not use it.

  • Just made an order. thanks OP!

  • +1

    edit: still valid

  • +2

Still letting me park the coupon but I'm not feeling hungry enough to make an order.

Word to the deliveryhero marketing types that may be lurking this thread. Get your goddamned Play And Win fullscreen pop up out of my freaking face, you're actually getting in the way of me spending money with you.

  • +2

    expired :/

  • +1

    : ( Not valid

  • +4

Expired. And there's your answer, you can't park vouchers.

    • +2

Poor form by Delivery Hero letting you add a voucher with an expiry and then expiring the voucher before that.

Delivery Hero are far less generous now.

      • Yep, it's back to MenuLog for me, who are also still on CR.
Anyway, I find ML more reliable, and it's ridiculous that DH still don't allow changes to pizza, making it practically useless for ordering pizza with.

  • +1

I have saved the coupon but now its gone before I was going to use it. looks like I am a half hour late.

  • Missed it.. Next time

  • +3

I actually feel a little bad for the people that solved the clues and wont get to use it because it was posted on here

    • Thats right, this was an ozbargain deal, pretty much an ozbagain exclusive deal. Probaly a lot of unhappy customers.

    • +3

Yeah I was happy that there was a game but kinda disappointed it was posted straight up on ozbargain.

Oh well at least i got my $10 off :P

    • +1

Look at this way. His/her pancreas thanks you.

    • +1

Yes, but I also feel bad for people like me who had saved the voucher and couldn't/wouldn't use it for lunch, just dinner, and then suddenly and without warning/notification had it taken away before they could use it.

  • +4

Dammit, so just adding the voucher to your coupons sections in the app doesn't do anything. Mine's no longer there :|

  • +1

    Me neither, that sux

    • +1

Dammit, you're pretty punctual when called ;)

      • Actually they missed the full stop at the end of the sentence, dammit.

    • It's alright to tell me what you think about me. I won't try to argue or hold it against you.

    • +1

same. checked back for tonight and its goneskies. what was the point in adding it?

  • I hate Delivery Hero and Eat Now and all that being a delivery driver… because people order from 25kms away, its prepaid so they don't give you a tip. If you are going to be annoying and overlook 10 pizza shops for one that is 10k or more away remember you are using the delivery drivers petrol and time so do the right thing and at least give him a couple of dollars for dodging peak hour in pouring rain to deliver your 14.90 order….

    • +5

You shouldn't expect people to tip you. You're being paid a wage… Do you tip plumbers and electricians when they have to drive out a fair way? This is not the US.

      • -3

A plumber or electrician gets $90 an hour and is at your place for at least an hour. A driver gets $14 an hour and is at your place for all of 30 seconds. If you order from 20km away and don't tip you are a cheapskate and an (profanity).

      • -3

Think about it, a 40km round trip is about $5 in petrol so the driver can be on $5 an hour after delivering your precious small garlic pizza not taking into account the wear and tear on their car so they are nearly working for nothing but if you want to compare that to a tradie on $120k go on.

        • +4

Have you made these statements to your employer? Why don't you go to another employer and work under better terms?

        • -3

          @arcticmonkey:

should we all do that and just cancel home delivery altogether? You people are so ungrateful for the sake of a dollar or two its pathetic.

        • @sirlothie:

No need to cancel home delivery. I have met delivery drivers who appear to be very happy with their job.

Perhaps it's you that needs to change your attitude or get a better job.

Things might get even worse for you if Turnbull is re-elected and slashes penalty rates.

        • -2

          @arcticmonkey:

          Penalty rates? What are they?

        • -2

          @arcticmonkey:

If you are happy to make a person putting themselves through uni or a single mother or someone working under minimum wage to use their own money to deliver your dinner from 20km away good on you mate. Hero.

        • +1

          @sirlothie:

Who is forcing you to drive 20km?

Penalty rates are likely to be slashed if the Liberals get re-elected. Single mums, Uni students and people on minimum wage should focus on keeping the Liberal government from being re-elected rather than whining about driving on a discussion forum.

You will achieve nothing complaining about your job here.

        • @arcticmonkey:

Whoever gets on delivery hero and orders from that far away. Perhaps many may read this and be more considerate, I don't mind going 5km or 10km even that's reasonable. I think you will find most drivers get cash so things like penalty rates don't exist.

        • @sirlothie:

Why is it possible to order that far away? Many restaurants limit the distance and charge a higher amount for further delivery's. Wouldnt this be in the best interest of the restaurants to just serve a local area of about 5Km, so they are able to make more closer deliverys?

        • @Crownanchor:

No there is more money in having flat rate takeaway prices and having delivery zone as wide as possible to maximize orders. If it gets too busy just get more drivers. I know a joint that has 8 on Saturday night. It makes no difference to the shop if you have to drive 20km or 200m, they make the money.

        • +1

@arcticmonkey: Sure, they're bringing back WorkChoices as well.

  • +2

Shame there is a lot less deals from the food ordering services
I remember about a month ago there were deals fortnightly, now there are hardly any…
