Not for everyone but a great mobile tool chest at a great price. Been looking at one for a while but are best pricing is usually around $550, so this is a bargain. Built tough as nails and has a lifetime warranty so you'll never buy a toolbox again. None in stock but can be backordered.

As I said not for everyone and you do pay a premium for Pelican stuff but it will last. These tool boxes were made for the military, then decided to sell to the general public. They will survive a fall from any distance and if it doesn't it will be replaced no questions asked for a lifetime. The weight of the box without any tools is 18.5kgs. Thats 18.5kgs of plastic alone they definitely are not your average toolbox, water and dust proof the are fully submergeable and wont leak.
Personally for me I see the value in such a box the snap on equivalent is twice the price.
My first thought is that I would absolutely buy this if I was a tradie. But then I thought that getting it into/out of a vehicle when it weighs as much as your tool set + 18.5kg would probably break your back.
for $480 i expect it to be full of tools.
For $480 it would be a pretty bad set of tools.
