    The $2 cable on AliExpress is extremely unlikely to actually be certified MFi.

      it says its on sale so if its a cable that is normally $6 AUD ($3.99USD) according to their site may well be MFI certified.

      In saying that i myself will not risk buying it in case it is in fact NOT MFI certified.

  This is a good deal for braided mfi cable. It's also local stock, so if ever you needed a replacement I think this would last longer than the apple distributed ones.
  It's also 2 Metres which is bonus for me.
