Selected Levi Jeans $69 - $89 Plus Free Shipping

50

Stumbled across this when I was shopping around for some new jeans - I have a few pairs of Levis already, they're great quality and have lasted years.

This sale has a range of styles and rinses available - including an option or two for those of us with a more 'robust' waist line.

There's also shirts and other items available - But I'm really only there for the jeans.

Much better value than the likes of Just Jeans and at these prices with Free Shipping it beats ordering from the USA. Plus it the returns policy looks fairly decent.

This is my first ever OzBargain post after many years lurking and shopping with you guys - I hope it's a decent starting contribution to the community.

  • Might have a look, do you know if these will be available in stores too? By that i mean proper Levi stores and not retailers.

    • Maybe, I don't have any near me to check :) If you happen to find out maybe let everyone know?

      • Roger that, might head over to the macquarie store later this week.

Cheaper at Costco. I don't know if they sell the same styles, though.

  • When merchants inflate prices by 100% it's easy to reduce by 40% and you still would pay for a standard priced jeans.
BTW, free delivery isn't a catch option as I should go to the shop (there are many) and try the jeans before buying also they don't have big sizes.

    • To be fair, just jeans' own brand is around $50 a pop and so is uniqlo. Having the prices of branded stuff go close is worth buying considering their quality is generally better.

      • I think that Just Jeans' standard retail (marketing) prices start from around $70-80 then sometimes they do discounts like the one we see here and they got different quality jeans depending on how much you're willing to spend.

        • I usually see 2 for $100 in stores… not sure if it is just that store or nation wide though.

depending on the style and colour you can get levis cheaper at their outlets.

  • These are about normal prices at the Levis outlet stores. Best to physically try on jeans than buy online.

That's good to know - I live out in the country so shopping online works pretty well for me.

  • why does Levi's "slim" jeans, not look slim at all?

    • Quick question, what is your image of slim? I thought the same… looks a bit loose. I usually expect the thigh areas to be filled a bit but the Levi ones seems loose there as well.

    • I think you want there skinny jeans instead

  • Can't believe the markup on some of these items - I paid literally 25-30% on the US site for some of the Commuter items compared to what the Aus site is charging.

Yeah it's disgusting - this sale is the first time I've found them priced anywhere near reasonable.

      • you paid $50 for commuter jeans? from their US website?

        • Yeah, they had a sale and some colors/style were $19 - $29 US.

People do realise Levi's (with exception of some high end ones apparently) is no longer made in USA?. Same with Wranglers (double the price of Levis locally ..ouch)..
Having said that my fav lasted a fair while.

    • It's everything made in China, India, Bangladesh etc. etc. it costs the same price for sending them to US or to Australia but as usual even online prices here are inflated.
I understand shops have to pay $30,000 every month for rent plus employees etc. etc. so why the online site have the same prices???
Marketing gouging in Australia is nothing new.

Which is why i no longer buy them here…. made in all the same countries.. probably in factories next to each other. Quality has dropped based on reviews ive looked at. No idea about online prices. Looking to buy jeans made in actual usa and surprise…helluva lot cheaper..
