If you have optus connection, check optus perks , you should be able to find airbnb inside it. You will also score $30 optus prepaid with this.

@mskeggs: Not sure if you can pick up $2 optus sim and activate and use optus perks..worth giving a try in my opinion :).
I can't seem to find it on the site. The link the above link provides takes you to the pick your perk page and on there is basically just movie codes and cricket pass.
There's a link here - http://www.optus.com.au/shop/promotions/airbnb but when you click on 'get code' it takes you back to the pick your perks page.
What a waste of a $2 SIM.
Thanks everyone, I made the booking with a referral code. The $2 sim idea is a good one, but I didn't want to risk missing the reservation in an attempt to save $8!

Does the trip information get feed back to the company?Yes, i tried but have not received $70 as yet..They may send at end of the stay..but not sure…

I signed up just to look around some time ago and didn't think I would ever use it. Have a special deal with my existing account and don't want to risk it with a new sign up. Only have 24 hours to accept

If you get optus connection, optus perks will give you $50 voucher for airbnb booking. You can also use referal credit if you have your account already opened with someone's referal link. If you are going to create new account, use can use friend's referral link to get $39 which you can use for booking your trip.
Just to add, one of my friend has optus so i asked him to get airbnb voucher from optus perk and used it on my booking..
Addition 2: If you use airbnb for business, they will give you $70 after your first airbnb business trip. Ofcourse this is something that you will get after your trip completion.
Addition 3: You won't be able to use more than one discount during single booking. So it means that either you can use your optus perk voucher or your referral credit.
