Which Case for Oppo F1 - Suggestions Please!

Snagged an F1 on sale from BIGW over the weekend and now I'm looking for a case - this particular phone seems to enjoy some popularity around here - any case suggestions would be welcome.

I'd prefer a flip case which covers the screen (I'm spoiled by my first gen Moto G which has the most awesome genuine Motorola case which replaces the rear panel) but would be willing to consider a shell as well.

Cheers!

I used to always get flip cases, but tried tempered glass protector with non flip case, and wouldn't go back. The tempered glass hasn't scratched at all, and put it in with keys in bag.

I agree, a good glass protector and if you must a thin shell for the back.

    • Thanks, good advice. I'd heard that the glass protectors caused issues with the touch-screen (poor pick-up of swiping etc.) but I guess that's no longer the case?

I must say that I feel any flip case is going to be a massive disappointment after the Moto G custom flip-case from Motorola - one of the best pieces of engineering I've seen for any mobile product. It was a very hard decision to move to a non-moto-G phone this time but not happy with the increased size of the newly released Moto-G G4

I have bought nillkin protector for 2 different phones. Both caused no issues at all with touch. Both fitted perfect. I got 1 cheaper glass protector before, they put glass over sensors and clarity was bad.

        • Great, thanks! I'll stick with the Nillkin products :)

  • How much did you get it for? They are not available online. I didn't think they stocked them.

    • Are you asking about the phone? $179 using the 10% storewide discount at BIGW last weekend

      • Optus locked one. Thanks

You're not a fan of the case that came with it?

I mean, it's not snazzy, but it's functional.

    • Lol, haven't actually opened the box yet - wasn't aware it came with one! My plan is usually to wait until I have a case/screen protector for a new phone before I open it, otherwise I'm tempted to start using it and risk scratches/dents etc. (based on a bad experience with a previous phone).

I'll have a look at the included case as well, but was hoping someone had found a really great flip case they could recommend…

Like I said, it's not snazzy, but it comes with a clear, plastic (rubber?) case… it does the job of protecting the phone from scratches & dents (which, for something that was included in the purchase cost, I'm happy enough with).

I was pleasantly surprised by the F1 as a phone, I bought it as a replacement when I didn't think I was going to get my M8 back— it's not a bad phone at all.
