    Working time: About 6 minutes

Wait does that mean I have to charge it for 1.5 hrs and it can only fly for 6 minutes??

That seems crazy. I have zero experience with drones but surely their batteries last longer than a few minutes.

Hi Yeah I play with my drone for about 20 minutes , but It's 6 minutes non stop, full power. All are the same most are less flying time of about 4 min

That's with the stock battery, which my guess would be 3.7V 300mah. You can get extra ones so you can quickly swap, or taped 2 together but have to wire up. Or just get a bigger battery on eBay like 1500mah.

RC toys can be fun once you get the hang of it.

        "7.4V 850mAh" apparently…

    • +2

      That's about normal for drones.

It seems like nothing but in reality you will feel like you had a good flying session.

    2MP camera, seriously?

    • I believe so that's the product specs we have been advised of. I have used camera comes out ok

Bought one. Need to check how my roof has held up with the recent weather.

If the camera's not that good, then a present for my nephew

A ladder would have been a better bet.
You are going to need one when you crash it on the roof anyway. ;D

        LOL well thought

Okay. You got me. I'll send the nephew on the roof and keep the toy for myself

  • Depending on your needs, you'll find alternative quads from alternative sites a better fit.

If you want to take some casual footage/photos and not get fully into flying, a Syma X5HC is cheaper and flies MUCH easier. Probably the hardest thing to learn when flying quads for the first time is throttle control. The X5HC has barometric altitude hold so you don't have to worry about that.

If you want streaming first person video, you'll have to pay a bit more. Models are available with wifi based streaming to your phone but these suffer from pretty poor range. Otherwise you're looking at 5.8ghz video but you'll need to buy a screen (or get one included).

If you just want to learn to fly and have fun, a basic Syma X5C or misc clone is significantly cheaper. Either that or a smaller nano-sized quad.

I've flown several toy-grade quads. Happy to answer any questions people may have.

    • I agree, with recommending Syma x5c. Just make sure there's no wind, and you put the remote control into High Pitch, otherwise loosing the drone is almost guaranteed.
They are selling a WiFi camera for the x5c, and reception on Mobile Phone is about 20m. Not great but fun. Do not watch the recording on your 22" screen, it looks horrible. I have also the Syma X8C, but the X5C is much more fun to fly. It is so liht, you can crash it with no damage ( to the drone or whatever it crashes onto )

  • Hi Cooni,

Have you flown this drone? Its very easy to fly and good entry level.
