Was this the one that only input QC2.0 and not output?

    • Yeah I think that's the case

      • +1

Can anyone confirm this? As most of us probably have a Moto X style or a QC2.0 enabled phone… if this outputs in QC2.0 it might be good =)

        • +2

          QC is input only.

  • How much faster is the quick charge compared to the normal
one? Can anyone help? Thanks! :)

    • About 7 hours to charge with QC. Up to 11000mAh can be recharged in the first ~3 hours.

  • Sweet ,thanks.

    • It's only quick charge when you recharge the powerbank.

I bought this last time. Use it to charge my MacBook from empty to full and have a little charge left. The only downside is it takes about a day to recharge, which is not really an issue for me and specially for this price.

    • +2

Are you using a quick charger to charge the power bank? It should cut down the charging time significantly.

      • Nah I am not. Never needed to charge in a hurry. Can you recommend one?

    • Hi! I've tried charging my Macbook using the Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter and a USB3-A male to male cable but it didnt work. I'm assuming my cheap eBay cable is no good… I'm just wondering which combination you use? Thanks!

      • Almost positive you can't use an adapter to charge the MacBook. Try with a normal Usb A to usb C cable.

      • +1

I bought this Belkin USB-A 3.1 to USB-C 3.1 Cable from JBhifi, which also allows me to use my iPhone charger to charge the laptop.

        • +1

          Thanks @pitufon ! :)

    • Still takes a day to charge even with QC 2.0?

  • How long shipping to Sydney Australia?

    • My past orders from geekbuying took 3-4 weeks to arrive

    • +3

Well, if your experience is anything like mine, after about four weeks you will start emailing them to ask where it is, after six weeks they will stop replying, and after another month you may, if you're lucky, get a PayPal refund.

      GeekBuying….never,ever again .

    • My last few orders (cables, chargers) took 2-3 weeks to get to Sydney, by airmail.

      • Same for me, larger items 4 weeks , I take the free postage and wait rather than other postage options.

  • Still $39.17 Not $37.6???

AU price on the website can be a bit out compared to the current exchange rate.

Paying in USD with a CC like 28 Degrees setup in Paypal to use it's own currency conversion is the best way of getting close to the current exchange rate.

      • Can you elaborate on how to set this up in paypal?

        • +3

          From hamza23

Instructions on how to change your PayPal billing currency:
Login to PayPal, click settings, click payments, click pre-approved payments, click select available funding sources, next to the credit card you want to pay with click 'conversion options', then click 'Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.'

This will then charge your credit card in USD, at which stage your credit card will use the MasterCard exchange rates, instead of using PayPal's lesser exchange rates if you let them convert it for you.

I have so many Powerbanks now.

If only Powerbanks could recharge my bank balance after a good lyl deal.

At least this way they only need a top-up.

    ;_;

Just wait until the end of the world. The stored power will be worth a lot.

        Eneloops?

        • Why not have both?

    • Have you got the Tesla power bank yet ?

  • These have dropped $10 in price since I bought 2 of these a few months ago. Pretty nice price drop!

  • I bought one during the last post and this is a great product. At this price I think it has to be one of if not the best product in its category right now.

  • Use the "retailmenot" code for a greater discount: 5%
Edit, but it also seems to reset the price to something else… weird.

    • +1

Resets it to original price and then applies the coupon.

I have not received my order back to March. Avoid them.

  • Good price…… I have the 16000 will try and hold off on this

Why Xiaomi products are so over priced here in Australia?
I saw many Xiaomi deals on this webstie, they are all much more expensive than their listed price in China. And still they are called a deal.
This powerbank is only listed as 129CNY(27AUD) on Xiaomi's official website. http://www.mi.com/dianyuan10000/pro/

    • +2

The powerbank posted here is 20000mah, double what you posted.

      • I thought it's the 10000mah Pro version, My fault.
But that's the same price 129CNY for this one 20000mah too,http://item.mi.com/1154400042.html

        • +2

Add international postage the price won't be very different then. It is approx 88CNY to ship 1kg from China.

        • @azukay:

Yes, but 88CNY is the price for air freight. It will onyl take 3 working days to be delivered in Australia. And you could always combine other Xiaomi things to be packed together in one package.
The post from this website is very slow. I ordered a Tronsmart Quick Charge three weeks ago and I am still waiting it to be delivered.

        • @cloudzhou:

No 88CNY is surface mail/post which is via sea (up to 6 weeks). Air is 140CNY+. You should look it up. I receive large shipments from China all the time and I regularly pay 1200CNY to receive 13-14Kg of goods via air (as I need them within a month).

        • @azukay:

I just used ZTO express last week, and they deliver things in 3 working days. Goods are delivered by TOLL in Australia.
Check their Taobao page if you could read chinese.
          https://world.taobao.com/item/523902963777.htm?fromSite=main…

They charge 85 CNY for the 1st KG, and 26 CNY for additional 0.5KG afterwards

        • @cloudzhou:

So even with your taobao express shipping how is it very different in price from what is posted here. I mean if you can read Chinese then of course you can save more. But not everyone can. Lets assume your price of 129CNY + 45CNY shipping still comes to 35 AUD. 2-3 dollar difference isn't very big for the convenience of an English website. Also Taobao does not accept paypal so you do not have that protection should something go wrong. Yes you can use alipay, but they charge extra as their "processing" fee.

At the end of the day this price is good for the product you get, they are not blatantly ripping off "Aussies". Truth is Aussie dollar is down to the dumps compared to two years ago.
