Jblflip 3 is cheaper on Harvey Norman for 98 $ compared to 104$ at jbhifi. But I like thes bass of charge 2 + so I checked the price

I have had the JBL charge 2 for about a year now and I am very happy with it.
FYI: There is no or VERY little difference in sound quality between the JB charge 2 & JBL charge 2+.
Highs - distorts just a little when cranked up but still prettty good.
Mids - very good
Lows - very good
So if you see the JBL charge 2 anywhere… snatch it as it would be much cheaper.
I love it's bass. Not sure howusefuk charging the device with its usb will be. Compared to dwi local stock is better for warranty and returns.
FYI there is new model JBL Charge 3 coming. But not sure when it will be in stock in Australia.

I own the Charge 2 (not spill prove) happy with it. However, the Charge 3 seems to be improve in overall sounds.
You can surely get a good deal of Charge 2+ elsewhere like above post i.e. from DWI. Also you can get it from Amazon at around $154.86 included shipping.
I rang the supplier of JBL BT speakers, typically got a useless reply back about not knowing when it will be in stock. They told me to call the re-seller. Like they'd know anything.
For those with Costco memberships you could also consider the Sony SRS-XB3 which is another option within that price range. I Bought one the other day for $169.
