  • Liquor delivered in under 60 minutes….
You should make it clearly known its for certain areas only.

That is, unless you can deliver a few coldies to rural VIC in less that 60 minutes.
I'd buy your liquor for a year if you could make that happen.

You say "Melbourne", is that CBD + north south east and west only, does it exclude say St Kilda as St Kilda is not Melbourne.
If yes does it include say Clayton or frankston?
    What's Melbourne to you?

Edit: Checked a few suburbs on your site, seems "MELB" is a vague as I thought.
    Nice site interface though.
Prices a bit expensive but given the needs of an alcoholic in need, it a good business to be in.

Good point ozy, will include a list next time - might be a bit hard to fit it in but I'll include a list. Basically anything around inner metro Melbourne list of suburbs here (https://tipple.com.au/about-us.html). Not sure of exact dimensions but I would our drop zone is about a 10km radius from Melbourne CBD. Gets bigger every few weeks as we add in more areas and staff.

Ha, the goal is eventually to do everywhere in Australia in 15 minutes =) So stay tuned and maybe we'll be doing rural Victoria.

Pricing wise, we're not like a big Dan's (we're a startup) but the more areas we add in and the more customers we get hopefully we can start adding in more great deals for you. Our key selling point is really on-demand under 60 minute delivery. Haven't got it perfect but like 99.5% of our orders are hitting this target now. We'll get there =)

      • Good luck mate, it's a big market to break but if done well it'll pay off!
        All the best

    :limited area,
    :must use an app,
:can't see pricing without downloading app first.

    No bargain here folks.

    • i disagree. On some orders, the price is the same or even less than the major competitors. And you get free delivery on top.

The issues I have is the lack of information. I'd like to see
      -bottle size
      -alcohol content.

      • Agreed outlander, we're busy at the moment developing all our platforms. The biggest problem we have is our current platforms technology is limited (sorry start-up) but it's getting better each week and we're planning something big in the next few weeks.

Hopefully that will tackle a few of the information gaps currently.

    • Apologies probably didn't make that clear we both apps and a website =) we publish our prices on our website Davox - www.tipple.com.au.

Yes limited area for now inner metro Melbourne (https://tipple.com.au/about-us.html). As in terms of a bargain dunno, very different model from your other shops. We don't squeeze the life out of our suppliers to get better margins and we work closely with all our suppliers and cellars so they stay in business. Basically we love what they do and for our craft brewers such as Feral, Red Dot and Hawkers it's a pretty mutual relationship, they keep making great beer, we'll keep delivering it cold =)

On that note I think a our Master Craft Beers is pretty good bargain $75 for x24 ($3.13 per bottle). Cases like this go for around $65 - $90 but might not have as much range as we do. Plus it's delivered to your door cold =O
