16GB USB 3.0 Stick $3.60 at Wynyard (Tasmania) Woolworths

590

Found some USB 3.0 16 Gig Sticks available at Wynyard Tasmania Woolworths for $3.60 this evening and they did have a bit of stock available when I was there. (although they are probably gone now).

They also had headphones for 60 cents each but the remaining stock (there was quiet a few pairs there disappeared before the end of my shop).

Only putting here in case other stores have them on sale at these prices.

        yeah, virus on a mac

        • happens - look at the stuff that happened with the Transmission torrent client
someone hacked the downloads and slipstreamed malware into it.

Security through obscurity doesn't work, friend

        • @Droidyy: looks like lots of naive pc lovers here don't get the joke. If you have one single usb that behaved like that while the rest of the bunch didn't then what sort of virus that target only specific brand? P

        • looks like the black hatters realised mac owners have more dollars than sense and finally wrote some.

I bought about 10 last time, about 4 are now corrupt.
They seem to be very sensitive, you must safely eject or you will definitely destroy the device.
Good for giving movies or for secret agents and Mission Impossible type self-destructing messages.

  • i bought 20 of this when they were 2 dollars each… so far so good… no complain..

    • Same here, did a complete format before using as h2testw did have some issues prior to a complete format. After this no issues

  • Looks good, now i just gotta get the next flight to Wynyard !!

  • I was like Wynyard, yay! Then Tasmainia … nawwww. You little apples of our isle deserve a good tech deal once every six months or so, so enjoy ;)
