Got it for $518 from the Good Guys last week during the Ebay 20% off sale.
I have also seen this for $599 on Ebay.
Having said that, it is a great product. The amount of dust etc it took out of our carpets when we first used it was amazing.

Yeah I was checking online and could get one for around $850 delivered.
I really don't know much in terms of charging the unit and potentially having the warranty voided if purchased overseas.
I'm guessing the charger unit would be universal as the battery is 21 volts.
Can't really find any info on it though..

Dyson warranty isn't global, personally I'd wait but keep the price difference in mind. The V6 Absolute at its cheapest was around $520 while the V8 will be likely be $899 on release going from past pricing.
Agreed. Recently purchased this. First time using a Dyson and must say its second to none. Had high plush carpets and this thing on max mode picked up everything. Don't think we will use anything else in the future.
