  • I remembered buying this bundle from Target. The Ghost one is a physical disc. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Edited: Just take a look at the photo below the "add to cart" button. It shows a physical copy of the COD Ghost.
I think they made a mistake in the advertisement.

    This is a joke right?

Target is selling Xbox One's with games for $300 but a 11 year old, discontinued console is still $200 with two games you can pick up for <$10?

I love the 360 and it's range of games, but this is not a bargain lol.

Agreed, I see no bargain here. In fact it's actually a rip off.

you're actually paying for postage if you think about it :/

If they reduced this bundle by another $80, then I would be happy to buy a spare. Not great value though in comparison to spending a bit more and getting their current generation console.

Edit: If your determined to get a brand new 360 console with a 500gb HDD (and not preowned), then this price is better then EB Games current asking price.

The $150 deal that Target had was great not to mention the HDMI cable was only $1 extra!

$200 is just acceptable for brand new, you may need to also buy a HDMI cable.

Remember that most stores don't stock new Xbox 360 consoles and if they do, it's usually expensive unless it's clearance stock.

While ~$99 was historically the lowest price for the console years ago, this is currently a good price for a new Xbox 360 console.

$99 that I saw was a 4gb version only, unless I missed something? Agree though that for someone who had an xbox that carved it this isn't that bad, although I don't know if the One is fully backward compatible?

$99 that I saw was a 4gb version only, unless I missed something?

Oh yeah, it probably was. Even then, it's nothing a cheap USB stick or hard drive can't solve.

although I don't know if the One is fully backward compatible?

Only certain Xbox 360 games are, not every single one. Here's the updating list of compatible games.

        • What would that be in a percentage do you think? 10%

        • MS PR reps (with lots of spin): XB1 has BC*!

*limited BC - Just like XB titles for XB360!

$200 is too much, around $150 or (much) less I might consider it (as a spare).

I think you guys are being way too harsh. $99 and no hard drive as clearance stock (because no one wanted one without a hard drive) is not comparable to 500GB drive. And the dollar was much better back then too.

      • The retailer and manufacturer still have to make their money somehow. Older model PCs and other consoles aren't usually free either.
      • It comes with a wireless controller as well. On their own they cost between $30 (on special) and $60 .
      • The Xbox 360 is still supported. XBox live is still around. Still free games on Games with Gold.
      • The graphics aren't terrible.
      • As far as I'm aware it's still the better console if you can't get a regular Internet connection with decent bandwidth.
      • The Xbox 360 released 11 years ago is not the same beast. Hard drive wasn't that large. RROD issues etc.
      • Even the Wii goes for ~$50 second hand at EBGames, and some people still try to sell them for a lot more with a games collection on Ebay.

Is this a drop-everything-and-run-out-to-the-store bargain? No. Is it an okay price. I think it is.

  • If you don't want your kids to run away from home, perhaps pick up one of the bargains
