Help Purchasing a Second Hand MacBook

I need some help from my fellow ozbargainers, I am currently looking to purchase a MacBook Air 13".

I was originally looking at purchasing brand new but after some thought I would like to try save a bit more money because I am starting Uni on July 11. Uni being the main reason of wanting to purchase.

I have found this seems to be the cheapest thing I can find. I have found cheaper but I should mention that they were quite dodgy looking or damaged. I'm after something that has been taken care of and really with some sort of proof of purchase if going through someone private like gumtree.

If anyone could even point me in a direction of some MacBook bargains that might interest me that would be great I can keep my options open.

i just typed in ebay mac air and got plenty of results either the same or cheaper.
does it have to be a low spec second hand air as it seems way over priced to me.
There were deals here recently on really good brand new asus and HP models that were a heap better specc'd and just as small/lightweight.

here is a refurb $600, much better screen.
