Milsims is celebrating its re-opening under new management, with a board game sale. Some very good prices on a range for board game enthusiasts (don't bother looking for Monopoly).

Includes: Super Dungeon Explore Forgotten King $98.46; Pathfinder Adventure Card Game $38.77 and related, Hyperborea $73.85, Tortuga $32.31, War of the Ring 2nd ed $66.46, Euphoria $51.70, Hansa Teutonica $39.23, various expansions including Star Wars Armada, Alhambra.

$10 flat rate shipping. I don't think they are offering in-store pick-up yet, store still to open.

    Used to like visiting and check out new games when they were in bentleigh. Online is good for a transaction, but I do miss the experience of shopping when it comes to board games.

      They're going to be opening a store in Melbourne soon.

      Apparently there is free pickup available somewhere in Melbourne, but I don't know details so didn't include in my OP.

    Yes, all items are available for pick up in store - there is no delivery charge when this option is selected.

    If you have also decided to pay in store, we will hold the goods for two weeks from the date you are notified that they are available for pick up. If you need longer than two weeks please contact us to discuss options.

    So, new owners aren't honouring previous orders that weren't delivered?

      They bought some of the assets of the company from the receivers/administrators, so the new owners have no involvement in the problems associated with the former company.

      Anyone who bought from the 'old' milsims would be creditors and pursue their options through that process.

      tl;dr - its complicated
