Can wireless1 list it on ebay at same price or a slight premium :P

  • Damn, nice pricing there but the transfer speeds stated by Wireless1 aren't exactly true.

    According to techradar review (http://www.techradar.com/au/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/sto…)

The transfer speeds weren't exactly USB 3.0 but they were fair. Using ATTO Benchmark, the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive got the following speeds:

    On USB 2.0:

    Average Write was 18Mbps
    Average Read was 33Mbps

    On USB 3.0:

    Average Write was 32Mbps
    Average Read was 110Mbps

Was considering using this on my Nvidia Shield TV (it's got a OTG port) but the transfer speeds are not great.

    • If only the guy can get his measurements right I'd give him/her credit. Anybody proofread these days? Kinda like reading ninemsn news.

  • I gave an old phone to my dad to use as an mp3 player but he's already filled the 32gb card (MAX size the phone would read) I put in it.

For those that use these with music are their an lag/skips while playing with these?

    • +1

hmmmm. nope wont skip or lag. Even a crappy old SD card will play most mp3 files without any skipping / lagging.

Most high quality MP3 files will be using 320kbps which equates to 40kb/s.
Even a class 4 old SD card will play them perfectly.

However if he was using FLAC then there may be an issue with using old SD Cards….

  • Thanks OP. Wife was just on my case about getting her a new flashdrive, and I have the 32GB of this, so instabuy! (She gets the 32 haha)

    • I just got mine, quick delivery and as advertised.

  • Are these fine to plug into a Windows phone (eg. Lumia 640) to transfer photos off?

    • With windows phone 10, yes.

  • As much as I like the Toshiba 32Gbs OTGs I bought recently, a few 128Gb USBs (esp with decent write speeds) will come in handy.

    Plus it's Tax Return time.

  • Just ordered two.

    Thankyou op :)
