  • Damn it. I bit the other one. Where were you last night TA?? :(

    • +2

      At the footy😁

  • Dang it, I bought the 128gb fit last night from pc byte…. maybe they'll let me cancel and get this instead

    • I checked on eBay there is no option to request cancel order…

      • +1

I sent them a message. Hopefully they see it before it gets shipped…. Even still, no big loss.

  • Perfect timing! ta very muchly!

  • Sweet. My walkman has now hit half a terabyte.

    Good pickup

Great price. Don't need.. But hmm.. Might have to bite..

Don't expect it to be shipped any time soon.

Bought a Sandisk Cruzer Ultra from them on Monday hoping to get it by Friday, but it still hasn't been sent.

  • Thanks Bought one for the Macbook 12" from Officeworks sale

  • Thanks , TA , bought one for my Lumia 930 .

  • If you do not travel much, is this still useful? $20 is tempting, but don't see a usage of it… guys any tips to convince to buy?

    Thanks.

      Commute?

      • I guess this stuff is for those without microsd slot androids/windows phones. Just thinking putting it at home is a bit of a waste.

        • +2

Not just that, transferring stuff quickly without a cord is also immensely useful. Between phones too

        • Good if you want to quickly back up your phones photo library. Faster than using MTP that's for sure.

        • Good if you don't have decent internet and you want to back stuff up quickly.

  • LOL yet again more beating up on each other. Futu vs Pc.Byte Round 3 Fight!

My experience iwht PC.byte is slightly better than Futu online

    • +1

Futu? This time they're beating wireless1 lol

      • haha Wireless1 indeed but last time Futu

    • +3

      Futu == F-u-tu == EF YOU TOO

    TA need lightning connector :(

  • good deal - but don't see much usage for me… What are you guys using these for..?

    • For me, it's watching stuff on my phone/tablet while commuting and for my laptop which does not have a regular usb but only a micro usb port

      • Thanks mate. Just checked what this otg is. Seems like I was living under a rock.. I now may develop a need for this.. :)

  • Thanks TA,alomst went for the w1 deal.

My phone is USB Type-C…so sad.

  • Thanks TA, ordered 64 GB one.

  • Anything for USB Type-C (Nexus 6p) ?

  • Hmm these are new to me but the amount of activity here caught my attention.

So what is this? It's both a USB OTG (i.e. can plug into your phone to open up a USB port for another USB to be plugegd in), and it's a 64GB USB flash drive itself? Interesting.

    • It doesn't open up a USB port for another USB.

This is a 2 in one. One side is a USB connector, the other a micro USB connector. So you can connect it directly to your phone/tablet for extra storage

      • So it's just a USB drive for your phone right? And the reason it's called a "dual" is because the microUSB port is still open and available to use?

        • It's dual because it is a USB drive for your phone/tablet (micro-USB) plus it is also a USB stick for your PC (normal USB connector). So it is a 2-in-1 device

  • I am in two minds. Great price. At 40MB/s write speed it would take 27 minutes to fill up the 64GB model (64,000MB).

  • What are these guys like at delivering? I am still waiting over a week for a click and collect from a previous order?

128GB from this link is cheaper with free shipping. I just lost $0.88 :(

    https://www.wireless1.com.au/sandisk-ultra-128gb-dual-usb-dr…

  • Got the 128gb, great price! Thanks heaps

  • So tempted to buy one even when I got the Samsung Metal 64GB….

  • thanks TA! bought one for my smart phone.

  • Nice share!

  • I gave an old phone to my dad to use as an mp3 player but he's already filled the 32gb card (MAX size the phone would read) I put in it.

For those that use these with music are their an lag/skips while playing with these?

    • There's no lag/skip using these for music or video playback :) feel free to load up with movies & music.

I got the 128GB version when it was on sale earlier in the year, via a company on eBay (don't have the link at hand). These things are super handy. Build quality isn't superb though; at one point somebody caught the string keychain loop I had attached to it while pulling out their own USB, and the whole thing exploded apart. Put it back together and it's still working fine so I guess even if you break the case, it will probably still work. But the case itself leaves a little to be desired. The metal part is a C shaped rod that is simply in place to give you something to attach the USB to. The slider doesn't click in to place in the middle properly on mine, so of either the USB or microUSB ports is usually hanging out of its case partially at any given point.

128GB that you can use to transfer between a phone (not an iPhone, without some connection medium, obviously) and a PC is just awesome though. And I mostly use it like an external hard drive anyway. I got sent two by accident and being the good Samaritan I am, I let the company know and sent the other one back, which I regret…

    Anyway.
    Usefulness: 10/10
    Build quality: 6.5/10 judging harshly
Would buy again if I lost this one, which is always a concern for me.

  • Great deal thanks!

  • After code price is $23.16 for me.

    • 64GB is expired.

      • damn I missed out!

      • just save me $23.16 for not buying it. do I really need it?

        • If you do not buy, you don't need it. But if you have one around, you may never be able to live without.

Just like myself got a moto360……so unnecessary gadget, but now i can't live without it.

  • Great drive, received mine today! The 64GB drive is Made in China.

  • I got a 64gb one it lasted 2 weeks and is now being sent back to them……
