I take care of my cables so i plan to use them for longer.
Well worth the extra $$ and means i dont have to wait another 4weeks if i were to buy $2 ones.
When you inevitably have to buy a new cable in the next 3 months coz urs dies i suggest buying an mfi cable.
Those cables are pretty cheap but are not MFI certified and don't last long. Also those cable are known to damage the battery.
I usually by MFI cables but this particular brand on AliExpress was recommended to me by an OzBargainer.
The cheapest MFI cables I've come across though were these $6 Belkin ones at Dick Smith.
