It's really just the same as the original Xbox One, it's not the Xbox Scorpio.Better to wait for the PS4 Neo (rumored September) if you're going to spend that much on a console.
Or get one of the older current consoles and save a couple hundred dollars.Unless you have a 4K tv. The new one up scales all games plus can play HDR 4K blue rays. Old model doesn't do this.
Upscaling is nothing. It just means 'stretching'. It's not actually 4k. Your TV already does that.
Only get this if you care about 4k Bluray
Xbone S doesn't upscale gameplay, only bluray/DVD video.
How did 300 US turn into 549 Aus? Looks beautiful, built in power brink, crazy smaller… But yea not worth it if you already have the Original Xbox One and even if you don't, you're much better off buying one of those crazy bundles on the old one.
$399(2tb version) USD worth $524 + gst %10= $576 so actually you are saving over $20.

Weird it doesn't support 4k gaming, plus it has a HDMI 1.4 instead on 2.0a which limits the FPS you can get
Xbox One Scorpio is your 4K gaming machine. Though it will struggle, and graphics boost will be negligible at best.
