  • Yawn, no OLED.

    • Yeah…how ever did human civilisation exist without OLED int heir lives?

      • If you are going to spend 4.5k on a tv, you would want it to be OLED.

And they used to be able to spell correctly back then as well.

LGs oled cant, i repeat, cant compare at all to samsung uhd tvs, not to mention to suhd tvs, go to jb etc. Stores and look at them one next to each other, oled is dead technology that cant be advanced for future.

I wouldn't take the hyperbole route and says its an OLED or its nothing like above. However in response to your comment-

Considering LG just took out the best TV award yesterday for their new G6 OLED (E6 has the same picture quality) against where the new Samsung Flagship KS9800 came in 3rd I find your comment amusing-

      http://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/annual-tv-shootout…

This an event where each screen was calibrated exactly the same by 2 ISF techs, and had the same content played through each, and industry experts in attendance whom voted.

But I agree. Go out and see the new LG OLEDs ie. OLED65G6T $11k, OLED55E6T- $6.5k (Street mid to low $5s) which will be appearing next week in stores and compare against the Samsungs and new Sony when it hits stores and people can make up their own minds.

But you are comparing sets at different price points. YMMV.

  • It would be awesome if this Samsung 105" TV drops down to $5000 in 5 years time.

    US$ 120K

    • Fair go, did you read the whole page?

      YOU SAVE:$30,000!

  • Thanks. All prices are a couple hundred better than JB, plus they seem eligible for $200 store credit.
