180

Posting this as there has been a huge focus on here around London flights, and Ryanair only run these deals once or twice a year.

1 MILLION SEATS FROM £9.99

To celebrate what we pray will be a big Remain majority, we’re launching a 1 million seat sale with fares to Europe starting from just £9.99 – less than the UK’s £13 travel tax – for travel in October and November, just after midnight tonight until midnight (24.00hrs) Friday.

Ends 10am Saturday Morning AEST

      • Keep going… here's a hint, it's not to do with consumer goods… baaaaa

    • Independence of the UK? Intolerably poor in-flight services by RyanAir? or is there something I am missing from RyanAir?

  • +1

Coincides nicely with the Brexit GBP price drop.

    Thanks OP.

This deal will be great for all the Britain people now moving to Scotland.

    • British?

    • +1

Would be easier to drive across the border if taking personal belongings!

  • As an Irishman I know first hand about Ryanair. Shady airline who have standing only sections on flights….

    • -1

How does standing-only comply with air safety standards?

    • +1

You clearly don't…Ryanair are researching designs for vertical seating but as per jdr's concern, it's doubtful they will be able to meet the legislation any time soon.

Also, Ryanair is not shady. They are an ultra low budget airline which charge through the roof if you don't comply with the booking conditions. If you understand the terms and conditions, have the right amount/size of luggage, arrive on time and don't expect any special treatment if a flight is delayed/cancelled, then they are fine.

Yes they have received stacks of bad press, but that is because people complain about the the above and expect full service carrier hospitality/allowances on a budget airline.

      • Ryanair is fine if you like older planes and experiencing first hand the animalistic tendencies of human beings. It's low common denominator travel. Expect those things, and you'll be fine.

        • +1

They have one of the youngest fleets in the world.

      • Please refer to my below comment………….

  • Seriously. None of you heard this story? Literally none of you heard about this? Jesus Christ… I expected a few laughs.. Anyway, Michael O'Leary actually seriously attempted to do this but it was instantly shot down because it was stupidity.

Ryanair are a POS. Stay away. Happily have paid the extra few euro for Aer Lingus. If youre more accustomed to Tigerair than Virgin or Qantas then Ryanair is definitely for you. Otherwise stay the hell away.

    • Clearly you are accustomed to virgin and Qantas.
Low budget carriers are not for you.
However Ryanair fits it's segment market and actually turnover more money than full economy airlines and fly some of the youngest fleet planes in the world.
Yes they have less down time, less cleaning in-between flights but you get what you pay for.

      • This is the sad state of affairs Ryanair leaves it's employers..

No paid holidays, no sick leave, no maternity leave, pay for your own ID badge, Pay for your own accomodation when sent abroad, pay for your own bi-annual legally required sim check, pay for your own car parking, pay for your own uniform… The ability of your employer to decide on a whim that you won't work this month and as such you're not getting paid.

Sure so what, it's not like they're in profit by €600m or anything. Ryanair are not a good airline.

        • Okay so for people who don't care about Ryanair practices this is a good deal.
Clearly you care about that so Ryanair is not for you.
Cheers for the information about their practices I did not know about.
However I'll still choose to fly with them in the future as their service meets my requirements.
