I bought a Nexus 6P at launch for 1099 (i didn't get hit up for it but Google Support confirmed that the price excludes GST by the way) so the Apple premium isn't actually too bad for this sale.

Well sure iPhones are not cheap, but the nexus are all expensive as well and android looks and feels like a cheap knock off iOS.

Alas, I didn't manage to walk away with an iPhone..
I've been been buying iPhones since the 3G and recently decided to swap to Android in a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 running nova launcher app for a mere $245… With the exception of the crap Xiaomi camera I am very happy and am enjoying my savings of $750 odd over an iPhone 6 plus… For any iPhone users questioning the price to upgrade I recommend dumping Apple until they charge fairly and reduce their profit margins.
What?! Too expensive I bought my husband a 128gb 6plus for $800 brand new @kogan eBay. Ww had to wait 3 weeks for delivery but was worth it as brand new
