Agreed, best to check both places before purchasing. Difficult when Repco doesn't have an online store.
At my locals in SA repco is usually dearer
Was waiting for this deal, but ended up buying last week at SCA. Thankfully got an email just before about receiving a credit due to going on sale :) Still might get some more for the next oil change given I buy the Ten Tenths stuff so always a bargain when 30-35% off.
Yea repco is generally more expensive than SCA for the ten tenth stuff
I went to Repco when they had 40% off Penrite a few months ago and the Enviro+ 5W30 was about the same price as SCA with their 20% off.
Penrite HPR 10 is pretty good stuff. Would definitely recommend for any higher km commodore v6 or 8. Previously used Castrol edge 5w30 (a bit thin, yes) but had terrible lifter tapping on my cammed ls1. Quiet as a mouse on hpr 10.
Just returned from my local Repco in Nunawading, VIC (Melbourne) and bought 5L Penrite premium 10w-60
They were also handing out 30% off voucher for storewide for use next week to all the customers
Only better if the starting price is the same, lucky for me my SC and Repco are next to each other
