This is a good price, considering it has wifi, lan, hdmi, etc…
also considering the hard drive itself cost about $90

According to some forum this model can download torrents by itself.
This can save your electricity from downloading torrent in PC.

    There is a low-ish limit on download speeds. 25kBs

    Unit has problems where all memory oh HDD is randomly wiped if you do not have a small partition before the main partition.

    I've owned this unit for almost a year now and it's been ok. I wish I had purchased something else though.

      After hearing about issues with this unit (I was about to buy it) I bought a WDTV Live and ext. hdd, cost a bit more but well worth it

    $178 inc postage, guess thats about $100 for the media player and $80 for the drive. OK I guess.

    They also have a cheap GPS for $60+post

    These units don't have Wireless, they are Wi-fi ready, big difference.
    You can add wireless connectivity by adding the Astone USB dongle but it's not built in as indicated in the description.

    dont think il be gettin this, as in the link that timhn posted there seems to be alot of problems doesn't seem worth it to me. Sounds like a really crap unit

    anyone know of one that works good
