Please share with as much detail as possible.
I'll start

  • The suburbs around Doncaster are terrible just small weedles and crap like that. Minimal stops too.

Did the starter Easter egg to get pikachu by leaving the starter area 4 times. But no point having a 10cp pikachu that can't be levelled up if you don't see more.

    • Around gyms you usually find the most pokemon. I like to look for areas where there are two gyms in close proximity with a park / water nearby this give some variation to what you would normally find in 'suburban' streets.

      • yeah nice advice.

got a ghastly, ekans, mankey on bourke/elizabeth

bit sick of pidgeys/zubats around the cbd otherwise

OMG there was a Charzpika level 700 at platform nine and three-quarters. Gotta catch 'em all!

    • eh only level 700.

  • a lot of pidgeys around caulfield/malvern. evolving to a pidgeot soon.

  • Walked along Southbank at lunch time today and counted about a zillion people with their heads in their phones walking round without looking where they are going, talking about magic carps and team blue. Wow this game has caught on quickly.

I don't play it either but I knew what they were doing haha.

Jigglypuff - Pascoe Vale Rd, Glenroy
Ivysaur - Pascoe Vale Rd, Glenroy

    • thanks i'll have to get the ivysaur on the weekend.

      • are pokemon reliably regional though?

ie. will it continue to appear in the next days/weeks following someone catching it in the same area?

        or is it pretty random

        • pokemon tend to be somewhat regional i think but also more or less based on the type of pokemon it is.
Water types will be found near water etc.
I'm not quite sure of the cycles of when the rare ones come or go though.
