Reasonable discount for those looking to buy Prepaid Visa gift cards (which usually require a loading/activation/card purchase fee).
$16.50 for 6 cards (50% off) OR
$10 for 3 cards (39% off)

Groupon voucher applies to Card Purchase Fee only, ie, the cards bear no value. The voucher needs to be printed and presented at any Big W store on or before 31 Aug 2016, to collect the cards. Full number of cards must be collected in one transaction.

Cards can be loaded with amounts from $20 up to $500 (single-load only). Can be used worldwide to pay for purchases at merchants and online wherever Visa is accepted* (please check T&Cs).

Expiry date is printed on the card and cannot be extended.

    How is this a deal in any way shape or form? It reads to me as a prepaid credit card that you have to buy, which comes with a zero balance. You can only spend what you paid into it. Worse still, it expires and is not redeemable for cash!

    It suppose it would be useful for claiming the Club Catch free trial on COTD as you need unique card details for each time.

      Yes, anonymity is the main drawcard - I think the best deal we had in recent times was the $0 Coles Reloadable Mastercard (can't beat that), plus VISA prepaid cards usually carry a fee of around $5 (Auspost ones are $5.95). Thank you for this first positive comment.

      Ding, give gooddealmate the prize for explaining why one would pay $3 for a unique debit card number. Also good for paying for a VPN if you want your VPN'ing to be as anonymous as possible.

      Per T&Cs "The expiry date is printed on the front of the Card and it cannot be extended", so best to check that before redeeming the voucher.

    it doesn't say if you can or can't use a discounted wish giftcard to load the card. If you can then the fees will be offset by the discounted wish gift cards. Could be really good.

      Good thinking. Yes T&Cs don't list loading methods (was trying to answer JIMBO's question above). I suppose we could ring Big W or ask at the counter before getting these vouchers.

      If I use entertainment book to purchase e-gift card (5% off) and recharge visa prepaid .For every $500 I can save $22.25 ( $25 - 2.25 per purchase fees)

      So it's 4.45% off for EVERYTHING ( Car, House, Yacht… woohooo!)

      Alternatively, after you got the Prepaid Visa, you can use it to purchase back the e-gift card, for each time you do you will have extra 22.25 visa credit.

      Just keep doing it for 1000 times and you will have extra 225k, and 10000 time can pay 20% deposit of a 1.1 million house

        tried to load money to that prepaid Visa card at Wooli , pos automatic decline when load with an eftpos gift card which can't not be use for ATM and also declined wish gift card too. Staff says that is cash out transaction.
