I Google'd "computer desk" and this desk from DShop.com.au popped up. It looks pretty appealing for it's price as a brand new desk. What do you guys think of it and has anyone bought from them before?
If you wouldn't recommend it, where else should I be checking?
Something of decent quality. Black or brown preferred. Doesn't have to be new. Max budget probably $150, the cheaper the better but don't want to compromise much on quality or take much risks.

My sister got an absolutely lovely one built about 5 years ago for under $500, but I'm guessing this would be stretching your budget.
Repurpose palettes if your handy Nd have time, you can make your way ect.
It looks like a nasty, flimsy, flatpack mdf thing that will shed its veneer and swell if you spill drinks on it.
Personally, I just a solid wood dining room table that I got from Early Settler for $140. It doesn't have any fancy compartments, but it's so big that it doesn't matter.
no shortage of desks on gumtree.
Not sure where you live, but if it's in the North Shore of NSW, drive around before the first Tues of each month. People leave out better computer desks for collection and you can pick one up for free.
gumtree is your friend, consider posting a wanted ad to get a super cheap possibly good quality second hand desk.
Actually the Dshop desk looks damn good for $99 pending postage price.
Can't say anything about the desk but Dshop is a reputable seller.
That does look cool, layout wise, but it looks like it may be cheap material, but for your budget, you probs won't get hardwood.
I'd consider getting it, but would want to take out that shin level shelf.
