This is just a fake advertising. There will be none left in most of the store.

Have you been to every Masters store?

FYI I know of at least a couple of stores that still had at least 30 packs of at least one of the packs mentioned above. Most people purchased the chargers and the AA/AAA 8 pack when they were first placed on clearance (as they were the best value). Some stores (not all) will still have the 4 packs and 2 packs on shelf.

IF you are one of those lucky to still have stock at your local store the price is good. No need for the sour grapes!

at least a couple of stores

        Yeah which stores?

Get off your behind and look. Since you are lazy scroll down and you will find that it is not just a one store offer :)

Still quite a lot at my local store. You'll just have to go check yours.

Just looked at metro stores in Perth. No stock.

    • I'm seeing click and collect stock???

      • I ordered(click-collect) more than 20 products from the website apparently showed stock for my local store in Canberra. After a week I got a call that none of the items were in stock when I ordered them. I got my money back after a week. Never gonna buy anything from them.

        • They probably had stock but took too long to grab it for you. Meanwhile someone grabbed the stock instore.

What store did you find stock at?

    • Baldivis

      • None left there now.
I was asking OP as it seems like he posted the deal after seeing it online and doesnt know where there is stock so shouldnt really be a deal.

        • -1

Looks like you posted at 1am in which case your a fair dinkim liar!

I clicked and collected picked up at about 11am on the 14th, asked to see if there were any more on the shelf (cause I wanted some more) and there was over 100 packs of AAA's on the shelf (sold out of AA's).

I don't mind ppl bitchin about no stock but don't make stuff up.

        • @hoxygt: click and collect had none when I checked. Their systems aren't right. I have done click and collect only to be called causes they didn't have stock for other items.

  • Man this is some gooood eye candy!

Is it worth the 850km round trip? Maybe….

Northmead NSW - Online shows no stock of AAA's and AA's don't come up in search.

I trawled the whole store a few months back (previous deal) and there were none.

Months ago they used to be in the lighting department, in those small separate promo display thingies that hardware stores love to use. I never saw them with the other batteries.

  • When is Masters going to close? :S

    • Some people are suggesting November.

  • No stock from my local store, no positive vote from me :(

Just buy hobby king batteries, order like 30 of them at once and you're set for a few decades.

    • Not a bad suggestion, recently refreshed and analysed my Turnigy's and they are holding up better than similar aged Eneloops Nd if I recall right their AA's were about $2/ ea delivered!

  • None at ACT (Canberra Airport).

Not having a go at OP, but not surprised. Master's is well known for this crap. Not quite as bad as Dick Smith was, but I've had more occasions of not being able to buy stock than being successful. May not have been said quite so diplomatically earlier in this thread, but its the truth.

  • Went to Parkinson just now and none of them on shelves.

Eneloops poor quality from China. Staying away. Not worth your effort to hunt for stock

Turnigy hobbyking better and no time wasting
