Great idea… But not what I really want on such a cold day!!!

What about adding an option " Hot Chips " 😎

  • Does it apply for existing customers? Or new?

    Expensive ice cream.

    • I pay ~$12 for a tub of ben & jerrys, so $15 to get a tub of premium ice cream delivered isnt bad…but how good is the ice cream they are delivering?

      • Nestle does 470mL. B&J do 458mL.

The only brand I can find that does 0.5L is Coles and Coles Finest brand ($4-$7). Those brands are in their "Premium" section of their website. I guess "Premium" just means "more than just chocolate, vanilla and strawberry".

        • If you click the deal it will tell you what the icecream is.

        • @theguyrules: Oh.

So an icecream for this promotion (and only this promotion?) made by an unknown dairy. OK.

        • George Calombaris, Matt Moran and Neil Perry have each designed an exclusive flavour inspired by rescued ingredients.

        • @donga100: "designed" you mean have picked some flavours to slap their name on

    How is this a bargain?

  • +13

Better be made with the milk of unicorn.

    • +3

You'll end up cr@pping rainbows with that ice-cream…

      • You should have seen what happened when I had ice cream from milk of the leprechaun…

        • Mix the milk of a unicorn and a leprechaun and you get your rainbow and pot of gold at the end of it. Who knew that eating ice-cream and taking a dump could make you rich?!

      • so thats what paddle-pop rainbow is!

  • Any excuse to revisit this song:

I have a $20 free ride from a friend using my promo code that is about to expire. Anyone know if this could be used for some free ice cream?

  • +6

$15 for 500ml of ice cream is not a bargain…

    • +1

hey bud, where have you been?

      • +11

        Chasing Pokémons.

        • -1

Well the game only released a week ago so I'm assuming you where chasing … figments of your imagination? Welcome back.

        • -1

@theguyrules: Pokemon Go was released about a week ago and JV has been gone for quite sometime. So before Pokemon Go was not yet released, how was JV was chasing Pokemon. Never mind, it was a bad joke.

          @Mr Unreliable:

Pokemon Go was released about a week ago

I was leading the Beta test team…

Must have read too fast. I was thinking $15 worth of ice cream delivered for free (given that's what we're here for). To pay $15, might as well go to NQR and stock up on paddle pops for life (or for a long while anyway).

We're in the middle of an Antarctic southerly. Lucky if we make it to 10 degrees most days this week.

I'd eat a whole bowl of chocolate fudge syrup before I'd be interested in ice cream.

  • +5

When 500ml of 'Ice cream' for $15 is promoted as a bargain, i know Ozbargain has become too exclusive for me.

  • +3

The $15 also funds Ozharvest meals for 5 needy individuals. You can consider it a social conscience offset?

  • I wonder what's the price of this ice cream when no promotion?

    • The icecream doesn't exist outside the promotion.

  • +2

    Just got mine! Delicious!

    • which flavour

      • George Calombaris’ Caramel & Walnut Baklava Smash

  • Just tried to order the icecream. The driver turned up and had no idea about the promotion at all.

Is it set the destination as "ice creams" to order? Thx

    • Select the type as icecream.

      e.g. UberX, UberBlack, Ice Cream.

It should be the last option.

  • Thanks. Not delivering to my area (icecream option doesn't come up when I put in my address) :(

  • Hey guys. If you're in the CBD and you order now you will get 2 for $15. Just mention it when the guy comes to give you yours. Also you can place the order through both uber app or ubereats

    • Does everyone get 2 or does it depend on luck / what driver you get?

      • Just ordered (Melbourne CBD) and got 2 tubs. The delivery girl said that was the deal - no idea why it isn't publicised! Oh, I ordered through UberEATS not Uber (if that matters)
