if it's 2000mAh i'd be surprised. no way it can hold 20,000 mAh at that price

    • 6 x 3400mAh cells = near 20,000mAh. It's plausible. Only the price screams 'scam' in this deal.

      • You can't get 6 quality cells of that capacity for that price

        • Yeah I didn't mean quality :p
They'd be either <1000mAh cheapies, 3,400mAh which don't pass quality control and are sold off cheap in bulk or used laptop batteries which are 3-5 years old and would barely old 1000mAh anymore.

    2000.0mAh

    jk

I bought one of these from JD that looks exactly the same. Turned out fake. Not even 1000mAh

The cases are OEM. It depends on what batteries they put in it. I'd assume putting either extremely cheap batteries or reusing old laptop batteries (note laptop batteries contain 3-6+ 18650s). Either way, it's still a 'scam'. Either way, just get an Xiaomi for the extra $10-15.

      Edit:

      • A lot of fake power banks full of sand were using these cases too.

        • Used laptop 18650s are basically as cheap as sand, there's no reason for them to not have actual batteries.

Note (as sort of said above) this still doesn't mean they're good - they're still useless. Better off with a 5,000mAh Xiaomi for a few $ more, it'd have more real-world power output.

  • I don't even know if these hold enough charge to power the LEDs at the front lol

  • So, 20Ah at USB or at Li-Ion voltage???

    • +1

      Always at internal voltage, ~3.7v.

Yeah…I wouldn't even poke these with a stick.

  • Yeah as if i do believe its really anywhere over 10000mah.

  • Bought one off ebay years ago claiming 12000mAh. Got 70% charge on my nexus 7, 3900mA battery. SCAM BATTERY.

  • I bought these from a street market in Hong Kong claims 20000mAh but turns out no more then 5000mAh

buy them cheap and throw them at BMW X5 drivers. With any luck they'll explode!

    • why BMW X5 drivers LOL
      P.s not one myself

      • because they're insane horn honking-latte sipping (profanity) arseholes who drive up everyones arse, dont give way to pedestrians, dont indicate and give the rest of us a bad name (335i driver :). Plus X5s look ugly!

  • Hopefully they are protected batts

  • Your home insurance would probably be voided if these were found to be the cause of the probable housefire.
