        What are you suggesting? I know people take amps etc to the store but I doubt anybody knocks down the lounge and rebuilds it in the showroom?

      I'd agree. Though sometimes you can make an educated guess, particularly as Klipsch for example has a reputation for a different sound style. Harvey Norman stock Klipsch I believe still.

      Certain brands definitely have their own characteristics.

      I myself favour Kef.
