  • Cheers OP, purchased one.

  • Interested in one of these, does anyone know what's the speed like?

  • Geez, you can eat this thing.
    I also paid this much… FOR 64GB :D

  • have bought from UK site, looks like they are a good mob.
(Bought 128GB SD card from a previous OZB deal)

I have bought it about a month ago from their UK site, was 24.44 GBP = 49.26 AUD at this time.
    Took 3 weeks to arrive.
    Speed measured with h2testw is 35.4 MByte/s Write and 106 MByte/s Read.

  • How is this one performing compared to Sandisk? I got the Sandisk 128GB and it's running quite hot!

    • The Samsung supposed to run much cooler…also interested in others reviews.

I have the 32GB Samsung version permanently in my laptop and no heat issues at all.

Does it slow down or burn your fingers? What's the problem?

IMO the "hot equals parts fails faster" thing is a myth.

      • +1

There are plenty of reports of the SanDisk Ultra Fit 3.0 getting slowdowns and errors once it gets hot enough… As for it getting hot enough to burn fingers (please ignore the parallax error, resulting from taking a closeup image with FLIR One's dual cameras):

This image was taken just minutes ago, with ambient room temperature ~17 degrees celsius. Note that temperatures upwards of 60 degrees celsius is hot enough to causes thermal burn in just seconds of sustained contact.

  • Is the stick have the cover on it? just in case for protection when traveling.

  • Never knew there was MyMemory germany!

  • Thank you, just bought one!
Going to use it as a permanently plugged in backup drive

  • What do people actually use these sticks for? I've never understood the need for extremely high storage for SD cards and USB drives.

permanent extra space. my SSD is 128GB, so having another 128GB high speed USB is great store all my files on.

Buy wii for $28. Buy this. Then plug to wii to store your roms.

    • A great way to backup your important files, in case something goes wrong with your HDD>

  • Was about $50 for me by the time you have to pay $3 for shipping, was there a way around this?

  • Grabbed one… thanks OP.

  • Any luck anyone paying in GBP ?

    • Yes, changed the currency at the top right, was 23.99 GBP, total after the code was (Paid using Paypal with 28Deg Card):
      Zwischensumme (GBP):£21.59
      Porto (GBP): £1.95
      Gesamt (GBP): £23.54
So about 42 AUD all up.
Confirmation was sent 1 minute later.
These are sent from either Switzerland or the Jersey Islands, so no VAT/GST/Mwst anyway.

  • Thanks guys, ended up getting it for $43.89 AUD all up, with "priority" postage!

Had to go via PayPal's 'currency conversion' though.. as my CitiBank VISA Debit Card wasn't being accepted as a 'valid form of payment' via PayPal, otherwise would have processed as straight £ rather than converting to AUD out of Bank Account.

It also specifically excluded Amex as an option.

  • Any luck having this delivered? It says delivery in 3 days!
