Avoid these guys like the plague.

We bought a laptop from them the battery was dead they told us to send the battery back which we did. They confirmed receiving the battery and then got a half answer few weeks later and finally they just dodged our calls and emails the rest of the time. Eventually got fair trading involved as they refused to even talk to us and then they just dodged fair trading. (Turns out they are fairly powerless with small mobs like this)

If you want a million headaches for saving a few bucks then sure go for these guys. However seriously they just are not worth it.

    • You know they have an actual shop, right? I wouldn't buy online unless I knew there was a shop. In this case, just head in there and make some noise! The shop is always crowded with customers buying laptops, so there's an incentive to make you happy so you'll go away if you're there in person! :-)

      • So anyone who is not in Sydney should avoid online computer like the plague.

Anyone who wants to deal with a store that isnt filled with a fair trading dodging company should also avoid them.

Also if you dont want to have to go there in person and cause a fuss and chances are nothing will happen also should avoid them.

Why give a shit store business in the first place?

        • My experience from shopping there in person and from ordering online for delivery to country NSW is that they're not a shit store.

        • @douglasb:

Thats your experience. Mine is they refused to do warranty and then dodged calls and emails to the point it went to fair trading and then they dodged them.

But yeah if you wanna believe they are an amazing company feel free to do business with them. However the reviews from stacka of people is that they are shit.

        • @kasp:

I didn't say anything about them being an "amazing company", I said that my experiences, in person and online, were good.

Four years, and you're still this angry? Dude, go play some Pokémon Go or something, get out of your chair, get some exercise! Seriously!

        • @douglasb:

We had to throw the laptop out in the end. What good is a laptop without a battery? Odd brand laptop couldn't buy a new battery and well not worth our time tbh.

Not really angry but people should know what this company is capable of before doing business with them. Just warning people that is all, you wouldn't want to know details about a company you are about to spend money with? Just don't want other people to have the same experience I have had with this company.

Really making it personal? Very classy. Why do you have any interest in this? You expressed your opinion of the company and I expressed mine. As for getting outside today I have already taken my dogs for a run in the morning, after that did chest day at the gym, got ready for work and then walked to the station. What have you done btw?

Personal? Where? Your anger is making you a bit sensitive! :-)

        • @douglasb:
So you ask where it's personal but copied the part which is which means you can identify it. When you stopped talking about issue at hand an instead decided to imply I (as in the person) needed to get out more you made it personal rather than the topic at hand.

Also I asked why are you so invested in this? Obviously online computer stuffed me around with a laptop which is why I have an interest in this. However you who has made remarks about getting out more has injected yourself into the topic has no reason, if anyone needs to get out more it's you so stop being a hypocrite.

You seem to think i am mad but I am not. :P

    • Hi kasp, do you mind telling me your invoice number or laptop model number? I have checked with everyone in here, as far as I can found out, no one know anything about this, we do not have any issue with battery warranty especially the one dealing with fair trading. Can you email me the details of the matter? I will look into it personally, my email address is [email protected]. Any notebook that we sell comes with warranty, there is no reason we do not honour the warranty.

      • It was 4 years ago the laptop is in the bin.

There is no resolution now. I have no idea why you guys acted the way you did probably because it was an odd brand laptop. However rather than explaining the situation to us your company just decided to dodge phone calls.

Way too late to make amends now. I am not even annoyed or angry about it anymore but think people should be warned about what kind of company you are.

        • Hi kasp, I do apologise if you encounter any issue with us before, we really cannot find any record with battery warranty that lead to fair trading, usually any issue like that will be escalate to manager and there will be some records. All laptop we sold carries local warranties (from authorised distributor) and complies with Australian Consumer Law, if the product faulty manufacturer will provide warranty.

        • @olc:

Honestly what are you going to do about it now? The laptop is in the bin.

      • Oh yeah the guy we dealt with all that time ago was Jim.

  • Hi Rep, is VESA mount compatible ? ty

    • Hi tinkko
