Royal Kludge F68 60% Foldable Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard $72.25 + $13.99 Delivery @ RKgaming

SAVE15

So I recently bought this and got it delivered and I really like the quality and portability.
I was looking into other travel keyboards and most of them looked like re-skins of a generic brand this was one of the ones that stood out and was unique.

I like the feel of switches they use and the fold form factor can easily fit in my bag. Bluetooth connectivity is super fast and the pass through connection is a plus.

Delivery to VIC was for me was $13.99, however, the coupon code should cover most of that or get more of a discount with the 20% off offer. This is also listed on Amazon for 90$.

If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer.

What is this? A keyboard for ants?

    • +2

      You have large ants.

    • Ant Farm Keyboard, my God, the genius of it.

  • Which switch did you get? Brown or Red?

    • im a brown guy but its personal preference

      • +1

Looks like even if you get red the switches are scratchy sounding… Check Youtube videos…

These are probably will still be relatively noisy in the office

    • I went with red so they weren’t as loud as the brown and I can use it in the office

      • browns wouldn't be that much louder, it's really dependent on if you bottom out switches or not when typing

    • Which switch did you get?

      A Nintendo Switch 😎

  • Woulda been perfect if it had a mini mouse pad , currently using rii x1 which is great with ipad for rdp to my work pc ,but way too small for actual typing…

    • +5

Yeah I wish more of these mini keyboards had a little touchpad or clit mouse built in.

      • +3

        Haha clit mouse

        Underrated for sure

      • +5

        I can never find it

        • I think u mean the Logitech G spot?
I did also hear the rumour it does not exist.

    • +1

I was looking for the same thing but none of them had pass through which was higher in my criteria list.

    • +1

after some search found ultimatehackingkeyboard has mouse module bit on expensive side doing some research so far looking good

  • +1

$64 delivered with brown switches during prime week, if you're willing to wait. Enjoying it so far, mostly just for logging into a couple of media centres around the house or some emails on android tablet. I've taken to the office a few days just to log some miles on it. It's small but much nicer to type on than a laptop keyboard.

    • +1

Agreed! It’s such a nifty keyboard!

"Royal Kludge" - if you're wondering why sales arent that great… Ask an English speaker for some advice.

    • +6

      These are very popular boards.

    • +2

On the contrary, they sell quite well… Many YouTube reviews on their products.

    • Royal Klutz already reserved for ex-prince Harry

    • They should have gone with Royal Klunge

    • its one of the worst brand names that I can of. apparently they're pretty decent though

  • +2

Is it being foldable any more portable? I would have thought it being slim (unfolded) would be easier to put into a bag.

    • Depends on the bag I guess? The folded form factor works great in my backpack

  • +3

That's probably the most useless feature I've ever seen on a keyboard. I expected it to at least fold the other way to protect the switches. What do I know, I guess.

    • +1

      It gets mine moist

  • What's it like on the lap, short or extended sessions, and with iPads?
Dors the case need to be removed?

    • you can definitely work on your lap as the base is wide enough. Short periods are doable but I wouldn’t recommend long periods on any keyboard with that posture.
I am currently typing this message on my ipad connected to my F68 and am using the keyboard stand to hold the ipad with a case on, so it works! But my case is quite thin (the folio type you get from apple) so I wouldn’t know how the stand will work on thicker cases.

      Hope that helps!
