PlayStation Store have a huge sale on for PS4, PS3, PS Vita games, and Movies as well.
The sale runs until August 24th with some titles being subbed in and out during that time (some deals below may end on August 10th). There are additional discounts for PS+ members for some games as well.

    Titles for the PS Plus free games for August have also been released. A very mediocre lineup which I was going to post as a deal but had second thoughts.

    I was interested in that Heavy Rain / Beyond two souls combo deal for $25 (PS+) but at 70GB I thought id wait to find a physical copy on sale. I recall a previous deal where I think target had it for approximately the same price.

      I find this to be the case 90% of the time with consoles and it just baffles me. It's like they pretend competition doesn't exist or they assume people are just stupid.

      I'm pretty sure this has less to do with Sony wanting to gauge gouge people (sure they want to make money) and more about if they sold it for less than physical, places like EB/JB etc etc will chuck a massive sad and just not stock their games.

      This would be a MASSIVE blow as they would essentially destroy brick and mortar distribution channels, which is both a good selling avenue for mom/pops + walk ins but also really good advertising as well.

      So they keep it at RRP for ages, and discount a lengthy time down the track to not upset their distribution chain.

      Bought MLB The Show 16 - basic version last night.

      Woke up this morning and found that part of the game installs allows you to play (a tutorial) while the rest (of the 40 GB) downloads.

      Looks and plays good.

    IMHO most of these prices suck,
    on the US frontsite Batman arkham was $12 USD, Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls I think like $8 USD each

    Some are kind of similar, like walking dead michone, on the US was $7ish while here is $10ish

    Really rip-off in AU PSN. I spotted about 1-2 weeks ago in CA PSN, Last of US on sale then was CA$15. Witcher 3 GOTY (including 3 DLCs) in CA PSN before was CA$50 something, way much better than AU one. Given the AU dollar strong run at moment, I would rather wait for CA website deals

    I usually find something on sale that'll make me spend some money but i feel this winter sale isn't that impressive because the prices actually don't seem as cheap as they could be…i mean i feel there has been cheaper prices for some of these games already.
