    Thanks TA :)

Still find it odd that in aus mushrooms are more expensive per kilo than chicken

    • +1

Green beans is even more expensive now @ $17 a kilo and carrot was $1.2 now $2.5 but my pay is same :(

      • And often they're crap beans too :(

    • You eat mushrooms by the kilo?

  • +3

Thanks, TA for the easy reading format.

??? Vanilla Low fat Yoghurt or should that be Vaalia Low fat yoghurt

    • +4

      Thanks :)

    • +13

He could, but you wouldn't know about it until Wednesday. Be grateful that tightarse is doing you a favour before the current sale ends.

      • -1

I'm more grateful if he did that and he could convert product names into active links after Wednesday.

It's beneficial for everyone and can't understand why so many fans against it.

  • +2

    Giant Freddo's > $0.52 each.

…and yet, for me to fundraise through Cadbury directly they expect me to pay $0.60 per Freddo.

    What's the go there? :/

    • Same deal with Coke. Buying 30 packs of Coke ends up cheaper than buying from Coke direct.

      • +4

It's alright. I'll just refill my Fundraiser boxes with Freddo's from Coles. No one would know the difference as the fundraiser Freddo's aren't even labelled as for fundraisers like they used to be.

        • +3

I suppose every cent counts and there are no losers in doing this.

        • @JB1: Sure does! Just have to hope that the local Coles has enough stock.

        • +3

@TheJoshy: if they run out. Ask for a raincheck! Or go early in the week to get the manager to special order you some.

I used to get my local Coles to order pallets of drinks. Win for them because they get the sale. Win for me because I get drinks cheaper than from Coke direct

        • +1

@t25: pallets of soft drink. Wow.

        • +1

@expertreader: It was only two pallets. But yes, its quite a fair bit by any means. However, none of it was being drunk my me. It was for the restaurant.

        • @TheJoshy:

what are you raising money for if you don't mind me asking?

Bulla Creamy Classics Ice Cream 2L $3.84

    Yay!

    • Yeah its good stuff! Choccie with choc chip and a pour of choccie custard….keeps the kids buzzing for hours

  • +5

    All junk food

Don't worry the pine o clean is going cheap too in order to clean up the mess when the fatties burst.

  • .

Lurpak Spreadable Butter 250g $2.70 ……recommended … a great price to try it if you haven't used it before

    • +11

Lurpak is only about 60% butter, and it doesn't even have the colour of butter.
The name on the packet is misleading, it should be called a Butter Blend

Nowhere near as good as Mainland Buttersoft…
Mainland is 100% pure butter with no oils or other additives.

      • I don't even bother refrigerating my (real) butter these days.

still hard as a rock in Melb's winter so I microwave whatever piece I need for 10 sec. lol

      • @jv It tastes good though.

      • +1

you use too much bold letters, it's getting annoying

    • +1

If you have an NQR close by they have Lurpak organic butter 200g $2

  • You sure this is next week's? Seems very similar to current specials…

    Edit: Nevermind,some differences.
