If you book on Hotels.com knowing there's a waaaay better price on Cheaptickets, you take the risk that Hotels.com will weasel out of the price match. And then you're stuck with the higher price, unless of course you've booked with 'free cancellation'. I've tried using these pricematch offers before with no luck, they always find a weasel way .. :-( .. !!

      • Yes they do sometimes and sometimes they match last time they said you can't use promo codes although in there policy it states only promo codes that arnt available to the general public cannot be used.

        • Expedia has full control on hotels.com pricematching cheaptickets as they own both websites.

  • Prices in US dollars…shows AU at booking.

  • havent of these guys before.. are they reliable?

i have booked accommodation with them, no problems. they are part of expedia, i believe.

  • Just compared two different hotels from this site and wotif. Wotif was significantly cheaper (Hotel Causeway 353 was $70 cheaper).
Was I just unlucky with the hotels I chose or cheaptickets not that cheap?

    • Really just depends on the hotel. Booked a hotel using CheapTickets in Kanazawa, Japan for about $280AUD after conversion. Cheapest I could find on other sites was about $330 AUD.

  • the prices are in US dollars, if i purchase it in AUD would it automatically convert to US dollars??

  • sorry but not so good deal, the hotels that we wanted ( with good REviews are sold out ) at this website while they are actually available at other sites such as bookings.com, agaoda.com, hotelscombined.com.

    • Well I just booked a hotel for sydney using this deal, and it was around $80 cheaper than booking.com (INCLUDING genius discount), hotelscombined, etc.

Sorry you couldn't find what you wanted, but we did (was a hotel gf had found on booking.com).

  • no one seems to accept this coupon. when i try and go through payment it asks me to remove the coupon
