Ourdeal is merging into the Groupon platform so just got the email for a discount code on all Ourdeal deals. However it should work on all Groupon deals too I suspect.

Code also works on ourdeal website.

          If you use a coupon code that is not listed on this site, rewards may not be payable

          The coupon code is not listed on CR. YMMV

          @moocher: Just received confirmation from Groupon that use of this code via Cashrewards is not commissionable. So even if you get a tracking email, Groupon will reject the cashback when they validate their sales.

          @easternculture: You got it wrong.Groupon's margin profit is around 40% on most deals so they never lose.

          Pathetically,all your guys are being fooled by CR.Meanwhile,I earned quite a lot commission from this advertised code on my own website so let us see if GPN pays out eventually.

          Great marketing by CR.Bluff all into using their service by hyped rate and do not pay out later.Maybe another Shopandmint soon!

          No way the margin profit is 40%. Can't see the merchants advertising via groupon making any profit at that margin . It's probably around 15 - 25% profit but I would say 20%.

          highly unlikely . The commission via affiliate marketing takes a few days to track and gets paid anywhere between 30 - 90 days so not sure how you are claiming this. And not all tracked transactions get paid.

          @easternculture: I have asked several small business owners I've bought deals for how much Groupon takes, & all have told me it is 40%. A lot of places that list with Groupon are small businesses, so the owner is the person you deal with. Ask them about Groupon, & they are happy to tell you the +ves and -ves.

          They sign up to try & attract new business. But with the deal price, & then Groupons cut, they normally lose money on these customers. EDIT: The hope is some will become repeat customers.

          @easternculture: Hi,EC.By"earned"I mean tracked the transactions on my website in my own Groupon affiliate account.Yes,it will take about 30 days to pay out.Most transactions have coupon code OURDEAL15 being used.I will report back later if these get approved.Meanwhile,I also used CR for one purchase.It seems it will not be honoured by CR at its own discretion,not Groupon's.

          By comparing the cashback results,I will let people here know if CR starts to run a dark business like Shopandmint.

      Yenikoy is a great restaurant to visit, the coupon on Groupon makes it almost irresistible. The food is amazing, particularly the "Sac Kauvurma". I have been there about 5 times now and love it each time. It's a Turkish restaurant and is located in Newtown, so it's a great location too.

    Merchants have not been honouring deals purchase on Ourseal. I had two bad experiences with two deals already, and refund was issued almost right after I contacted Ourdeal customer service. So I have unsubscribe from Ourdeal long time ago.
