I find the <$30 from coles do just fine especially when on 1/2 price, Anything above $50 for a toothbrush just doesn't seem to agree with me.. :P just my opinion and this being OZBargain I'm sure I'll have plenty of other followers with me on this one

I tried one of the cheap oral-B brushes once - they're not even in the same league as the more expensive ones. The motor is so weak, you can do a better job by hand.

We're still using the 5000 we bought over four years ago, the battery is still as strong as when new.

      • I've got both and I've seen the specs - they oscillate 10% slower and don't have 3D action, it's no big deal. The only tangible concern with the cheap one is the NiCad battery, but at a quarter of the price.

    • Mine lasted over 6 years before the sun on the window sill ate the plastic. Dont put these near the aussie sun.

  • These are great… Normal price on ebay though.

  • Just to make sure - these are basically two toothbrushes with one charger and timer? In other words - it is good for a couple to have own toothbrushes?

    • Yes you can buy the brush head and use the same toothbrush. Its good for couple but to fully charge it will take almost two full days and once its fully charged can be used for almost 5 days.

Yes you can buy the brush head and use the same toothbrush.

Gross. Who wants to share a toothbrush head ewww….

Its good for couple but to fully charge it will take almost two full days

What do you mean "to charge IT"?

Is this one toothbrush, or TWO toothbrushes?

Why would it take two days to charge a toothbrush? Or even to charge two toothbrushes?

This is the stupidest product ever… "2 handles" - what the hell does that mean?

      • I think you didn't get the deal (or I didn't but you didn't clearly prove me wrong). It looks like there are two handles = to separate toothbrushes (+4 heads btw) so your reply is not on the topic. I am just not perfectly sure if this is all good for to people or for some reason you can just use one at the time and the second one is a replacement for one person…
And one more question if anyone knows - is the charging station the same as in vitality?

        • +1

you can use the vitality charging station to charge this…
i didnt check the charging duration if they are of any difference…

        • -3

so your reply is not on the topic.

What are you talking about? If I am not on topic, then neither are you.

I am just not perfectly sure if this is all good for to people or for some reason you can just use one at the time and the second one is a replacement for one person…

So, it's not clear what ths product is, huh?

Well HELLO - that is exactly what I was saying too. I was agreeing with you.

It's a stupid product because it's not clear what it is and how it can be used.

What is a "handle"? Does a handle have a motor in it? Can you use both handles at once?

If this is two toothbrushes, one charger and 4 heads then why don't they just say so?

  • been waiting for good price on this…. thanks!! just grabbed it!

Shaver Shop selling Oral-b Bluetooth Triumph 7000 for $164.50
    http://www.shavershop.com.au/online-store/oral-care/electric…

  • very good price for 2 handle pack! done a compare to the 7000 and it has bugger all differences (some wifi smartguide and tongue cleaner? feature)

  • Anyone know where to get a cheap second charging stand?

    • if it's the same as the vitality model, often half price at colesworth stores. Around $17.

      • Half price at woolies now. $25.

  • I would recommend the Oral B Pro 500 as the minimum model to get…the cheaper supermarket models don't operate as well (battery charge and brush oscillation)
