ASOS is trialing free returns for Australia (used to cost $6.45 and up IIRC). More of a PSA than an actual bargain so feel free to move to forums if appropriate.

    • Thanks, had no idea about this! Could be useful for ebay returns!

just keep in mind you're only entitled to 8 returns per 12 months

    • I used this for returned shoes I bought via OzB.

Was surprisingly hassle free, refunded into your paypal quickly

Big fan now, thanks for letting others know!

    • That is an awesome tip! had no idea at all! Thanks!

No leave it as a bargain. Hey, Windows 10 is still free like it was last week and that is a bargain. DO NOT MOVE TO FORUMS.

Anyone have a discount code off sale items? I have a few things saved.

Finally. I'll start ordering from Asos instead of the iconic

I'm no belt expert but those don't look any nicer than significantly cheaper ones from newfrog posted a long while ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191936

      • i'm planning on buying at least 3 packs so i have enough black belts to last all week including my separate saturday and sunday church belts. they look awesome ;) they're 100% real leather .. i reckon that makes a 3 pack of cheap, identical black belts at least 300% awesome

  • Come the next sale they have - this will interest me and definitely push me to making my first purchase with them. I hope other posters remember to include this detail in their description cause I will likely forget.

  • It's a hassle when buying shoes at Asos cause their size is in EU and shoe brands like nike and adidas doesn't show EU sizing under the shoe's tongue so sizing conversion will not be accurate. You're gonna have to do the return/exchange thing if you come across this situation.

    • Just order 3 sizes and use the free return on the 2 that don't fit right ;)

I never thought of that! thanks!

    • You can also scroll down in the size guide and it has it converted to us and uk sizing I'm pretty sure. I got nikes off there a few months back and got the right size.

  • This is a deal breaker for me now. Will consider ASOS more.

    • deal maker?

      • deal breaker

        • So you won't be using ASOS because of this change then?

  • We considered Asos before when buying some specific shoes for one of the kids.
Everywhere was out of stock of her size (most sizes in fact) and had been for a while but Asos were showing stock for every size.
This made me a little suspicious and then I read lots of reviews about wrong sizes showing up etc.
Personally, and I am naturally cautious, I suspected they were not correctly showing their stock levels, so I skipped it.
The reviews did seem to back up my decision to avoid them.

Just an opinion of mine, not backed up by evidence, but thought it might be of some value.

Bought heaps of stuff from Asos and only once had an issue where they sent the wrong product. Exchange process was painless to say the least.

I have ordered from ASOS numerous times - so many I can't even count them any more. Have yet to have incorrect sizes/incorrect items delivered.

I might just be very lucky, but I think their track record is pretty good.

Ordered from Asos so so many times, and never had the wrong product delivered. Reviews sites like that are always going to have almost exclusively bad reviews, because hardly anyone would bother leaving positive feedback.

What is the point of their Premier account now? You essentially get no other benefits with the exception of "express" delivery. Their standard delivery is usually quite quick already, so I just find this a slap to the face to those with Premier accounts.

    • Yep I feel pretty slapped now :(
