Can anyone tell me how long one usually lasts?
most will last about a week with a strong smell. As soon as you have maccas in it it'll go but still sort of be there.
Should last a few weeks if you follow the instructions on the packet. :) I never noticed it so it only lasted about a week previously.
Guys Kmart has a range of airfresheners that they sell air fresh or something. I bought 3 for $2 (fairfield forum). Some stores will vary ($2-4). Good find though OP. convenient.
Ive had the apple one in my car & it stinks. Cant get rid of the smell. Although some of the other scents ive had before are pretty good.
Can you recommend other choices?

I prefer bamboo charcoal in a hessian bag. It does a real good job of deodorising a car. Just pop it out in the sun every month or so to recharge it, supposedly. Works for me.
"leather" scent the personal favourite
My kimchi powered farts are keeping my car rather fragrant recently.
Those things just make the cars smell much worse, especially if the driver is a smoker and/or coffee addict. It's like adding a layer on top of a stench which combines to make something even worse.
