    Seems to be standard in Australia's more popular brick-and-mortar stores not to sell higher rated budget chargers for some reason.

    Jaycar sells generic 2 x 2.4A chargers for ~$15 (http://www.jaycar.com.au/4-8a-dual-usb-car-cigarette-lighter…) but I've never tried them.
