Just an FYI this charger doesn't support Samsung's fast charging 2.0.

      Any indication which model does?

    • FWIW my tablet says Super Fast Charging 2.0 and it has hit 42W when charging with 60% battery.

      • I'm assuming it's a Tab S10/S11.

I believe Samsung changed the SFC 2.0 requirements on their recent devices, so it only requires PPS 3A to trigger (which the Anker in this deal supports).

        • It's actually a Tab S8 Ultra. I'll test my S11 when the battery level drops a bit.

    Anything with 3 usb c?

    • Don't think they do a 3-port USB-C in Australia, other than their desktop models (with a cable). I have the US-model 747 which has 3x USB-C and one USB-A, but it's significantly heavier than these (but also 140 watts - newer ones are 150W)

      • Damn thats nice. Wish it was made by anker 🥲

          UGreen are pretty good too.

        • Ugreen is also a great brand.

For some reason it's only available from Apple (and in white) AFAIK

i have two of these. They're great. Fits perfectly in my laptop bag, I travel a lot.

  • This or wait for Prime Big Deal Days :(

I regret not buying extra when they had them for $25

      • How long ago was this? would've been an insane deal.

        • Just a few months ago just before Prime day dropped.

  • Is this any different from the equivalent UGREEN one?

    • Ugreen lower tier imo

    • I do like how Ugreen have a 45W offering with two USB C and one USB A now. The size is really compact on that one. When it goes on special next I'd say that's worth considering if your devices don't necessarily need the full 65W

I use several Anker and Ugreen.

One of both have developed faults with one of the USB-C failing to charge though the Ugreen lasted longer before it ran into issues.

Out of the two I now prefer Ugreen as they just feel more solid in build especially the casing.

I had this same question previously when I purchased (was initially looking at the UGREEN option and then saw Anker had a sale as well for essentially the same price).

TL;DR - Anker doesn't run as hot as the UGREEN one from testing by a guy in the USA on a YT video he went in depth and compared them.

Ultimately none of my UGREEN products have let me down (and for me this was the first Anker GaN charger), but I figured I might as well buy the better of the two based on reviews. Use it to power two mini-PC's which are on 24x7 and hasn't skipped a beat.

  • Does it fast charge pixel?

  • +1

These chargers are not very good. Doesn't stay in the plug securly and the middle USB-C charge port died after a couple of weeks.

  • Got this for as my dedicated travel charger - has worked great for the times ive used it .

  • Question for enlightenment - does the USB C cord I use matter / could be the reason for a slow (non-rapid charging) connection? Anyone have recommendations on USB C cord to pair with this?

    • Usb cables only really matter over 60W, so for this charger, it won't matter.

General rule is just never buy anything unbranded. Cheap novoo, etc cables will still be sufficient.
