"Easy way to remember is never use the bottom two ports at the same time"

    Thanks 👍 great charger

  • +3

pity they don’t bundle in a charge cable like the noovi ones do.

  • How heavy is this charger?
    Thanks

      It says under "Product Details"

I found the listed number not quite reliable. I have the a single port version, which is only 108g

    • Can't find any information on the official website but the Amazon listing has it at 200g.

    • -1

200 grams, but it is the most robust unit. Compare it to my "Anko" unit that I bought from Kmart that cost $55. It feels nicer, much slimmer and charges just as well. You'll like it.

  • +1

Using multiple ports (ie. the bottom two) is not just a voltage issue. Wouldn’t even charge since of my low voltage devices when 2-3 are plugged in but in an unpredictable way.

Works beautifully when I’m only using 1 port but has been a problem for me when travelling and this is my main adapter.

    • +2

That's weird. I've charged 3 devices simultaneously lots of times.

  • Quick question, does this model have the removable au plug revealing the fold out usa plug?

    • +2

      No

    • +3

I haven't seen such design from Anker

  • +6

Wouldn’t the Novoo RG68 is a way better charger (often on sale for around $25 only, smaller and equally reliable)?

  • Are these reliable?

    • +4

Anker is a very reputable brand.

Though, Anker had to recall some of their powerbank models (June 2025)

I didn't have a good experience, just bought one before going overseas and it worked fine when I tested in in Sydney. When I got to Bali, it worked for a short time and then was stuck in the negotiating phase and couldn't charge any of my devices. Luckily I had a backup charger but wondering if I should risk another replacement breaking down overseas or just get it refunded.

This unit isn't really meant to be used outside of the Australia due to the plug. If it was a universal, there's other considerations such as an interchangeable plug adapter.

If you wanted to use it overseas, I would recommend something that takes a figure 8 power adapter in the back and attaching the relevant cable. The reason is these units will usually have an internal step up/down transformer and adapt to whatever ac/dc current is coming in.

Something like this would fit the bill.

        • +3

I got the exactly same issue as @rav1n's using that figure8 cable model. It died on the 2nd day of my overseas trip. That's my 2nd Anker, and the 1st one also died within less than 1 year.

          • +1

@Averell: That is very strange. I've not used the RAV wall charger unit, but I've owned several Anker wall charging units with the figure 8 cable and I've not had the issue.

Not sure if you're getting bad units or it's just a string of bad luck.

I think I've had some of my anker units for about 5 years or more, obviously different units over that time

        • +4

It accepts 100-240v in. It’s universal, you just need the relevant adapter for the country you’re in.

  • +2

I’ve had this charger for over a year, and it worked fine for the first few months. However, it’s stopped charging for any device sometimes, and you have to unplug and replug the USB cable to make it charge again.

  • +1

I have this charger and find it to be overly long and heavy, which puts it in danger of sagging out of a power point.

Although I prefer Anker for most of my chargers, IMO the best compact GaN 65W PPS charger for Australian use at present is this Belkin, which I also have: (https://www.amazon.com.au/Belkin-Charging-Delivery-Technolog…)

Unfortunately it doesn't go on sale as often or as deeply, but I've seen it for $40 at least once.

    • +2

How is it better than the Novoo one which is less than twice the price and is very popular here as well?

    • That's what I thought about these types of chargers, they should be sagging when used, specifically when used with a travel adapter…

  • +1

Anker or Ugreen i wonder does all of these brands share the same design/chips from the same backend factory.
Because they all exhibit the same limitation, cannot do PPS 9V 5A.

    • What specifically do you need 9v 5a for?

  • Says currently unavailable

  • Anyone know if having cables plugged in to the ports, but nothing on the other end of the cable, counts as using the ports? I presume it only restricts wattage when power is drawn upon not just having a cable plugged in, but nice to confirm.

    • I used a usb c to usb c cable with a lightning adapter and it detects it as using the port, even though there is nothing connected.

No issue with usb c to usb c cable and if I remove the adapter.

  • FYI, there is also 41% off the 120W version (737)

  • The price is back to $59 now.

  • Back to $33.99

    • I don't see this.

      It's $59 for me.

      • +1

        Currently prime members only price

        • Ah, right.

I am not a Prime member, so that's why I did not see it.
