  • Given some people have complain about coming loose from walls, has anyone tried it with a travel adapter. Can only assume it's even worse?

    • I have one - it's a pretty long brick. I'm not sure if it comes loose from walls (I only use it horizontally connected into a powerboard), but it's probably not the best one to use with a travel adapter.

For travel, I'd just recommend one of the dedicated travel USB chargers that have the different plugs you can exchange between, or getting a "desktop" style charger that uses a standard figure-8 cord which you can easily plug into any travel adaptor, or get a localised version for wherever you are going.

      • Yeah Ive usually used a desktop charger with figure 8 cord, but have come to the conclusion it's more bulky and annoying when compared to wall plug solution

    • +1

I do believe if this thing is loose from the socket then the socket may needs a bit touch, same rule applies to all appliances not just this power adapter.

Can confirm this one works great in overseas hotel bathroom 110V or 220V weirdly-shaped socket.

    • I got this and it is not too bad on the wall. But definitely pretty loose with a travel adaptor.

    • Only 45W but this physical design is good

    • Two of these Zyron 65W travel chargers $37.99 in our carry on bags. The compact footprint means they're nice and secure, expecially in the UK.

      • Thanks. Look great! Will give this a shot.

  • this $36 has come back so many times, I wonder if this will actually get clearance price for Prime day (July 8).

I already have one, don't need another but it's getting old so maybe Anker will clear out the last 100 of them, for, $24.99???

    • its been about 35 for a long time now. I bought mine at the start of last year at this price. Doubt it will get any cheaper

      • yeah I know last years prime day was disappointing. 3 out of 3 products I was watching the price actually went up. had to wait for prime day to be over and then for regular price drop again.

if not clearance price, maybe some kind of coupon for extra 30% off or eligible for $10 off or something.

  • -1
    • What charger/powerbank brands do you opt for?

Always thought of Anker as top tier, recall is scary though

      • +3

The no-name brands that don't bother doing recalls are scarier.

  • +1

Nothing with a massive recall, sorry if vague, but had no probs with ugreen which seem pretty good value when discounted on amazon, reviews seem good

  • Isn't there two versions of this same shape & 3 port Anker charger? Something like "Prime" gan inclusive or not ?
Someone could tell me the difference in real use

    • I’ve seen 3 variations of the Anker 3-port chargers, each with a maximum total power output listed below.

      Anker A2667 = 65W total
      Anker Prime A2688 = 100W total total
      Anker 737 GaNPrime = 120W

Which one you need depends on how much wattage you need from a single USB-C port and how much you need in total for all of your devices at once.

The first two versions can output 65W from one USB-C port, the 120W version can output a maximum of 100W from one USB-C port.

      • Missing A2668, the "prime" 65W milanoxpress was asking. The prime version can allocate the wattage dynamically depending on device requirements. Also the connected devices do not disconnect and reconnect when a new cable is plugged in.
