cheaper than what it was posted before with 127 good deal points.

I have been using this. some users say downside is because it's long when plugged into a wall it will droop over time coming a bit loose (I read comments both saying this did happen, and didn't happen for them - maybe depends on how loose your wall plug is).
I plug it vertically in a powerboard so never had an issue.

Copypasta:
65W max with single port only.
45W + 20W with USB-C 1 and USB-C 2.
40W + 22.5W with USB-C 1 and USB-A.
40W + 12W + 12W with all ports in use.

Easy way to remember is never use the bottom two ports at the same time.
The middle USB-C and USB-A are connected so you will only get 12W + 12W.

Use One Port:
USB-C1 / USB-C2 :
5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 3.0A
20.0V 3.25A (65.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 3.25A Max (52.0W Max)
USB-A: 4.5V 5.0A / 5.0V 4.0A / 5.0V 4.5A
5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 2.0A / 12.0V 1.5A (22.5W Max)

Use Two Ports:
USB-C1 + USB-C2 :
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 3.0A
20.0V 2.25A (45.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 3.0A Max (45.0W Max)
USB-C2: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 2.22A (20.0W Max)
USB-C1 + USB-A:
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 2.67A
20.0V 2.0A (40.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 2.65A Max (40.0W Max)
USB-A: 4.5V 5.0A / 5.0V 4.0A / 5.0V 4.5A / 5.0V 3.0A
9.0V 2.0A / 12.0V 1.5A (22.5W Max)
USB-C2 + USB-A: 24.0W Max
Output

Use Three Ports:
USB1 + USB2 + USB3:
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 2.67A
20.0V 2.0A (40W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 2.65A Max (40.0W Max)
USB-C2 + USB-A: 12.0W Max Per Port
Total Output : 65.0W Max

    Good deal for Mork.

    • What about Mindy?

Fair warning, I own this and it does the negotiation thing when you unplug/replug some items. This can be a pain sometimes if you've got it say on your bedside. In my case I'm using it for a low power USB Light, a Type C cable spare (for charging say an ipad or a PS Portal), and my Google Pixel Stand gen 2. If I plug/replug the type c cable, post negotiation (and light flicker if light is on) occasionally my Pixel Stand goes into a weird 'not enough power' mode with orange flashing lights and even though it appears to charge my phone when I place it, it stops within a minute and won't charge it overnight. Has caught me out a few times. An unplug/replug of the pixel stand will sort it but just in case anyone needs one for something that requires constant power/freaks out if it loses it for a second, may not be for you.

Best used as portable chargers IMO. I have this as my home bedside charger (we have 1 power plug in the whole room lol, so it's also off a power board), and a ugreen of similar spec as my EDC because it's a little lighter! Otherwise this was previously my EDC charger

most if not all usb chargers do this. the only one I know that doesn't negotiate at all when unplugging/plugging is the Sabrent 252W.

US$99 currently but i've seen it as low as US$59.

guy in youtube video shows how he always needed this because he runs a lot of permanently powered stuff on their desk, together with charging phones etc.
      I don't really have a need for it so I didn't buy.

Strongly agree with this comment. I also own one of these and the built-in negotiation logic is broken. I gave up using it for 2 devices, 1 USB light (5W) and charging an iphone. It turns the USB light off and on multiple times while it tries to negotiate charging. It also randomly can't even handle the light being the only load. Just today turned the light on, the only cable connected. It turned the light off 3 times before it would allow it to stay on.

These may be ok for just charging a phone but are not suitable for powering 2 devices at once. Even with one device, its negotiation process appears broken.

(and yes, I've tried swapping cables, swapping between ports, etc.)

I have two of these and multiple devices plugged in and never had an issue whatsoever

    • Interesting. We have one in the kitchen for everyday quick charges - iPads, phones, cameras etc and never had an issue. It's often charging 2 devices at once.

I have two in the kitchen for charging all sorts of things - I only use the USB-C ports, but have 2 usb-c ends, 1 micro-usb (yeah, still got some devices), and 1 lightning. Every now and then a phone/iPad won't charge, and I have to unplug the cables and reseat the charger / turn off and on again. I never looked into it, but it sounds like a similar issue that some of the above have mentioned. Besides that occasional issue though, they have been good.

it's my portable charger. the portable charger. it's super portable and well built. charges anything that I need. including macbook pro 16, headset, magic mouse, phone, etc, etc.

      does the job perfectly.

permanent charger at home - for that purpose I have some Belkin with 4 ports, it's super solid.

  • Wonder how the Kogan 65W gan compares lol

  • could i use this to charge my asus zenbook 14 ? it needs a 65w charger. and i want something smaller to travel with, could this be ok ?

If your laptop needs a 65W charger, and the post is about a 65W charger, and you have an appropriate cable, what could possibly imply it wont work?

      • +1

In the listing, it only lists apple products/iphones as compatible things that it charges, im guessing that doesn't matter ?

        • +1

          you can use it

    • +1

I use it for my HP probook. Get a solid cable

  • Great price but haven't these been the same price for a while? might be wrong

    Good charger
Can’t believe I paid $1 more last time like a fool

    • +1

was waiting for someone to comment about how it was $25 here.

      • +2

If he's feeling like that over $1 I wouldn't tell him about the other $9, what a stitch up

        • +1

sorry didn't finish typing the rest. pretty sure because it has never been that low and it didn't last long, that it was likely a error where the coupon was meant to expire before the price was lowered. but they messed up. I could be wrong ofc.

which is why I didn't mention it in the post. because it wasn't part of the usual price cycle.

    • What if there is another $1 less tomorrow :)

    • +1

No you didn’t. It was for 33.99 which later after many days reverted to 34.99. Which I reflected in my deal page. Check your order receipt :)

      • Hah just checked, I actually paid 35.37 each - bought 2 in Feb

Bloody hell hey, February. Where did the time go.

  • Are the differences between this one and the more expensive 735 GaNPrime the "improved" temperature monitoring and power allocation?

    • +1

      Yes only that.

  • It has been this price range regularly for a while. Been watching it for months

  • How does this compare to the ugreen one?

    • +1

They're both about the same really IMO. Ugreen is a touch lighter (not necessarily an indication of different quality, but can be useful to keep EDC bags lighter in theory)

  • Trying to tell myself I don’t need another one. I already have 6.
