Is This Dealership Website Real or Elaborate Marketing ?

Currently looking to buy a car and so was looking up reviews of dealers and came across this website. It is mostly perfect reviews with a very high frequency. Thing is, the reviews look real.

I always got the impression that dealerships are, well, not highly regarded. Seems odd the reviews are nearly perfect.

Trinity Hyundai Cairns

There are reviews for other dealerships too (also almost perfect)

Trinity Kia Cairns

Is this real or is it some elaborate marketing?

Considering all the photos are taken in the showroom, i'd say its just all marketing.

    • I recently went to purchase a Hyundai and the dealer also made me take a photo in front of my car in the showroom with the giant blue/pink ribbon on the hood.

They may be receiving discounts (free fuel for review?) with the positive reviews?

Look at the business model of the website: https://snap21.com/vertical/autoDealership

Basically they engineer the process to get good reviews. Are the reviews fake? I doubt it. Are they a true representation of their entire customer base? Nope.

This "review" site is a paid for service by the dealership, so it's automatically biased up front (if you pay for it you'd want to be able to reject bad reviews}.

I would give this zero weight. It's marketing. It is NOT an impartial review site. It's a bunch of hand picked reviews done at a hand picked time in the sales process and it's funded by the dealership.

Of course it's real, it is virtually impossible to manipulate data on the internet.

Why does it matter? Just go for whoever is cheapest.
